Can he just say yes or no. The tangents take forever
I think he’s rambling deliberately because he knows this is possibly the last day. The more he rambles the less time there is for other questions, especially regarding Marion.

Lunch break in 5 minutes. 2-4 is not enough time to talk about Marion :( I guess they'll extend into next week.

Nah, it’s a conman tactic, people generally don’t realize that they haven’t actually answered the question. Or forget what the question is.

Lunch break in 6 minutes. They still need to cross examine. There is not enough time to talk about Marion :( I guess they'll extend into next week.
They have to extend it, right? Like they wouldn’t do that to Sally after all the other cockups?

Welp... I guess they will have to keep on extending it until they get the information. More draining for him and will tire him out hopefully.

yes that is my thinking too! He is cunning enough to be wasting time rambling with the hope the inquest will run out of time, but I pray to god they can extend it!!!

They can't end it otherwise, they have to talk about Marion! It's her inquest.

Unless they arrest him after today and start a criminal trial. Then finish the inquest after that case is complete. But I really think it's smart to get him to talk about Marion in this environment.

“I’m not going to perjure myself”… Say what now?

"Mr Blum, are you making this up as you go along?" [said in complete deadpan]

Surely RB had an accomplice in the UK?! Why else take his victims there rather than all the other countries he has aliases in? Or was it because he had actually lived there as an adult and knew it better than the other countries?

And it is for moments like these that Casselden regularly asks RB "are you quite sure of that?" So RB can't later take back his answers.

"I'm not going to perjure myself for the sake of a fling"
Hooboy the misogyny really resonates out of this guy

And he buys himself a round trip ticket?!? While buying the women one-way tickets? To leave them stranded? To kill them off?

Pretty sure it’s whichever version that he thinks can get him out of this pickle.

"I am not going to perjure myself for the sake of a fling".... what a disgraceful misogynistic piece of work this person is.

Adjourned til 2pm. One hour from now.

If they extend the inquest though, they might have to hold directions for it first and set up a whole new schedule. Make sure all parties are available, etc. I'm not sure.

When can kids drive in Australia?
Atm the I believe his daughter was 16 so a learners permit only accompanied by another driver - not on her own.
