Great point! While I still think WW could be a fabrication – he maybe even assumed someone else's identity, I do believe he is the WW from 1969 that was linked to IK. The photo on the top left is the one associated with that name and time of his life. It really does look like him! (It's ok if you think otherwise).

I think it's 100% him. The two pictures at the top next to each other have exactly the same nose, facial expression etc. I would be willing to bet money on it.

I think he has a bunch of stories that he tells. He remembers the stories but he may not remember the details out of order. He wants to get back to the comfort of telling his familiar stories. He's practised at dealing with the queries that come up at various stages of the story, usually with emotional manipulations.

Also in this case, the more absolute junk RB pumps out into the ether the more time people have to dedicate to dredging up his past and sifting through it, diverting attention away from the actual matter of where Marion is. I don't think that can be overlooked as one of his potential diversion tactics in this case.

I'm in shock after reading the NAA file on F. de Hedevary thanks to link from @BabeBlues. Please explain to me how RB made it back into Australia with no prosecution after so much paperwork was spent on holding him accountable for his immigation crimes. In 1980 they knew EXACTLY who his jerk was. To a "T." If he'd been held accountable then, then there would have been no Marion Barter case.

They were on to him in 1980.

Illusion/Misdirection can be allowing everyone to continue to assume something is basically true (such as he was born WW) This has been a big revelation for me!

I am really really intrigued by the RL French Algerian angle.

Surely someone around this person knows something about Marion and will do the decent thing and come forward. IMO there is nothing but death, deceit and disappointment for anyone who latches their star to RB. He sounds like a toxic person, to me.

I was shocked too when I read the NAA file, how did he still manage to retain his citizenship status after all those convictions overseas and blatant lying on his application? When did he fall off the authorities radar in Australia.

I am not sure who the original poster was who shared the NAA link here, it was a while ago so I can't really take the credit here

Indeed, and check immigration, customs, border patrol records for those years in various names. The one boat registered number will have a log of travel movements.

I have made some comments on the Roger Lauzone alias, because to me it stands out for a number of reasons. It is an early one that RB denies, later date of birth, criminal record attached, company associated (?), North African connection (Francophone country Morocco). I was thinking only this morning of doing a deeper dive into this alias.

You know how RB used Remakel name which so happens to be the ex husband of one of his victims?
I wonder if he used any of the ex husband names and DOB of his other victims?

I absolutely think this is what happens. This way he can access all sorts of information about them to steal or borrow their identity. I think from memory during the inquest when asked about why he first applied for the Remakel licence he said something along the lines of “I had his documents and it was easy so why not?”

Sorry, my reply didn’t work properly. Was just thinking that possibly they didn’t meet on the boat, but the name ‘Chusan’ is obviously important to them, so perhaps they met beforehand but it was a story they told others. Maybe they went on the boat after they had met under stolen identities.
Or they went on it in 1971 - have heard a few people say the passenger list isn’t available for that year...?

After listening to the latest podcast episode I wish they could tone down the French/Belgium accent. It was easier to understand the real Mr aka. Other than that keep up the good work!

Yes! And the actor sounds way too sure of himself. Lacks all the dithering, pausing, hesitating and slow pace of someone who's clearly making s*** up on the fly and using delay tactics to buy more time between court dates.

I'd urge anyone listening to the podcasts to switch to the NSW Coroners videos on youtube to get a better grasp of the deception going on.
