I wonder if some family member provided the photos, or was it someone else who attended the wedding.

Edited it to say, was it from someone's Facebook page.
Maybe the Ex?

So ASIO. If I can ask... What do they investigate?

The Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO /ˈeɪzioʊ/) is Australia's national security agency responsible for the protection of the country and its citizens from espionage, sabotage, acts of foreign interference, politically motivated violence, attacks on the Australian defence system, and terrorism.[3][4] ASIO is compared to the American FBI and the British MI5.[5] ASIO is part of the Australian Intelligence Community.

I have wondered this too. He has dropped horses into his stories more than once and made a brief reference to horse racing at the inquest. Incidentally Marion lived very close to a racecourse (7 mins by car to be precise).

You would hope someone from the horse racing or bookmaking fraternity might remember him if that’s the case should they even know about the story.
IMHO, I believe the interaction with horses (and casinos) is a ploy for if one gets caught with a quantity of unsubstatiated (ill gotten!) cash. Then you could tell family/friends/neighbours/bank tellers/potential love interests, that "it was won gambling", when in actual fact, that’s how money is laundered. Got too much cash? Buy casino chips with $, £, or €, "pretend to gamble" for an hour or two, return unused chips and get a valid cheque in Australian $ from the establishment "et voilá", it's now clean money. His explanation to the family would be because "I had a big win "sur la table de roulette"! The horses are an added furfy to intimate a gambling addiction because he’s a TAKER NOT A GIVER.

How much can we talk about online documents we've found relating to the case? I've found something which I'm positive others have seen (I'm not that good) and it puzzles me...

It just came to my mind how in Kath and Kim, Kim's baby's name Epponnee-Rae was a name picked out of the greyhound racing pages. :D

Not saying Florabella came from anything like that. It does seem to exist as a name.

Anything online is already in the public domain anyway. Post it, and moderators will remove it if it breaks any of THEIR rules.

That looks to be a massive chunk of Amber in her necklace.

Poor things on a pension and all - life must be a struggle :mad:

Oh of course, Bali.

  • #697
Hmmm, I wonder if the necklace was a bought one, or acquired by other means.

Seeing the new fotos of RB, at least I can sort of see what his victims saw in him. Also, he and D look like normal suburban people, which is always the way with good scammers.

It could be because it would reveal the name of the agent/ agents investigating
Sure but ASIO. That's the part that intrigues me. Tootsie posted their remit above and it doesn't gel for me.
