it's what you would use for mass killing, poisoning people individually would be extremely hard to calculate the amount needed for 1 person without putting yourself at great risk. And the effects on the person really uncontrollable, they may or may not die and the chance of it been picked up in hospital high with the symptoms, and it's a notifiable disease which adds more risk

Personally, I think it is just RB running his mouth .... I think he has a fascination with poison, and possible poisons but I cant see it been botulism for so many reasons.

But interested is everyone's opinion on this
I think he would be very subtle in his poisonings a technique he may have perfected over many years.

I became intrigued whether he was a poisoner during the inquest when he tried to make out he wouldn’t physically hurt someone.

In the warped mind of a poisoner this detachment from the crime allows them to believe they are not actually harming someone physically. He plays with words.

I still believe IK/R was poisoned and the botched toxicology tests allowed the perpetrator to get away with it.

Remember, was it J.O.?, she thought she’d been drugged and he took compromising photos? Sounded like she thought he’d drugged her? ie if not poison, a drug?

It was GG-B. More than likely drugged or affected by poisoning?

Yes, it was GG-B who believed she was drugged after RB took naked photos of her, threatened her and tried to blackmail her.

Coincidentally there is a new online article in The Australian, discussing RB’s coin dealing and how it would be easy to use coins to shift large sums of money across international borders.

If Evelyne would want to, and police wants to dive deeper in this matter, it seems after a bit of searching, a lot of poisons are detectable after years and years and a test can be done after exhumation.
They tested Zachary Taylor after 141years, so IK would be, if she wasn’t cremated, possible after 46 years.

Whoa now i know why he looks so familiar, he looks a lot like someone of a soap/series (like Neighbours & Home & Away). I was breaking my head over it. The last picture made the click. Problem solved.
Sorry @Carovb5 this person looks like a human to me.

NOT an animal

Hummm happy to be proven wrong but I would have thought that would be difficult "poison" to choose, there are much easier ways, and it's not a slow death, like you wouldn't poison them over time.

and extremely dangerous for the maker if you got it wrong or made to much
I guess what they are saying is, using an undetected poison in food, eg yogurt as he mentioned to someone, IS VERY difficult to prove as it would be put down to Botulism.

Me too @Lord Peter Flimsy
He knew exactly what he was doing! And I believe he was also involved after her death.

IK case was another debacle in a system that was severely lacking professionalism and conduct. Appalling!!! that a young mother with 2 little children, was left for over 9 months before another department stepped in to investigate blaming work back log. I mean seriously!!! She was 31, with 2 babies at home! It is criminal in itself what happened there!

9 months it took for her toxicology specimens to be analysed!!! It wasn't investigated until the Ombudsman got involved! OH&S Lawyer firm wrote to the Coroner himself about their concerns of why it was taking so long!

It seems to be a common thread in this case with this animal. SO many departments within the Australian system LET THESE WOMEN DOWN. The fact that he and his wife went back and forth from QLD to NSW evading authorities, and he continued a whole life of crime and potentially more murders - IMO - is an embarrassment to the Australian Legal Systems.

We are talking 40 odd years ago now and the systems we have today are almost no better. Last year we saw the investigation into the mishandling of forensic evidence of a young women who was murdered at the hands of her boyfriend which was 10 yrs previously - and he got off!

IK report, aside from her thoracic scoliosis which was also mentioned on her doco in 1969 when she came out, showed she was in good health, NO marks of Violence, NO sign of heart or lung or liver or any other organ problem!!!

Yet her report showed she died from Mycocardial Ischemia.

MAKES NO SENSE right!!!

Another example of how easy it would be for someone to poison someone -
In September 1982, Tylenol capsules filled with potassium cyanide caused the deaths of seven people in the Chicago area over a 3-day period. The first victim, Mary , was a 12-year-old girl who was found dead on her bathroom floor on the morning of September 29 after taking a capsule of Extra-Strength Tylenol to relieve a headache. That same day, Adam , a 27-year-old postal worker from Arlington Heights, IL, also took a capsule of Extra-Strength Tylenol and died at Northwest Community Hospital. His death was originally thought to have been caused by a massive heart attack; however later testing revealed that he had actually died of cyanide poisoning. That evening, while gathered at Adam's home to discuss plans for his funeral, Adam's brother Stanley and sister-in-law Theresa each took a capsule of Tylenol from the bottle on Adam's counter in an attempt to ease their headache. Both were taken to Northwest Community Hospital where Stanley died that night and Theresa just 2 days later. The fifth victim was Paula Prince, a United Airlines flight attendant, also died in a similar manner. On October 5, Johnson & Johnson recalled all Tylenol products nationwide.

It’s the conman’s collection – a combination of unusual artefacts and rare coins traced back to alleged serial fraudster Ric Blum.

A Roman bronze-plated phallus and a bronze “fibula” or brooch, circa 75BC, along with ancient coins, are among numerous items Mr Blum has sold via a leading Australian auction house.

Some of the objects sold for less than $100, while other sales were worth thousands of dollars for the disability pensioner.

“I never sold coins in the thousands of dollars, never,” he said.

However, Mr Blum was a regular client of online auction house Noble Numismatics, The Australian can reveal.

His coins and antiquities were sold under the name of his family, Coppenolle.

At one auction alone in 2010, he is believed to have put up for sale tens of thousands of dollars worth of coins, antiquities and “didactic” material.

The items were discovered by volunteer researcher Joni Condos, a key supporter of Barter’s daughter Sally Leydon in her search for answers.

Ms Condos said she set out to see whether coin trading was a hobby or profession for Mr Blum.

“I found he was dealing with some of the most recognised coin dealers in the world,” she said.
It’s the “antiquities and “didactic” material” I’m interested in!

We had a list of his 30 names before, but now they're saying there are at least 50.
I don't recall anything about what the remaining ones are.

Or maybe that's for next weekends news :)

Maybe but it have to depend on what the poison was - what was the poison in the Taylor case.

She wasn't cremated.
She lies in the Catholic section of a cemetery.
Odd for a Jewish woman right?

He is Catholic, on both sides, MB FB page said.
Her burial record was misspelt with a swap of a letter - something he and diane both do with their names

Her report is typed up. NOT signed by husband. Although it says he came to the hospital and was told by the Dr.
Yet her body was ID by someone else the day after her death.

The whole thing stinks of a psychopath

We will never be recognised for any leads @TootsieFootsie
I heard she even asked someone here to contact her if something interesting was found..... weird right for a supersleuth to say
I mean we are all numbskulls here on WS with no idea how to research...

For a moment there today, I imagined him talking to the reporter....from jail.
Then I had to remind myself that he's not in jail.

I was sure I did see one of them somewhere. I should have made a note of it.
