Yes sorry about the article. I'm not using anything to see it and am not a subscriber, so I don't get why I can see it, if others can't.

Anyway there's nothing in it that is new.

It was the bit about the bank manager that stood out for me.

Maybe he thinks that absolves him of anything to do with Marion's money ?

The other victims we have them going to the bank and withdrawing the money and handing it to him ... so the fact he claims it was Marion just backs up he used his usual tactic of getting his victim to remove the money themselves.

Possibly on the pretense of purchasing property in Bali ... like the other women ... The fact JH ( bank Manager) remembers the Bali connection doesn't help him, and to me that left of field statement from her was gold ... I felt it at the time, and we only had JO with a Bali connection .. now we have more

Personally, I think this is more damming to him, if the paper trial is really gone, then this is the next best thing.

What's with Bali, what's there for RB ??? something ...

@KiwiNZ Perhaps the Indonesian (Bali) connection is more extensive than we have assumed. We know Mr. AKA lured victims there with the premise of investing in property etc. and more than likely used or banked their money for his own personal gain. It is not particularly difficult to get a permanent stay permit (KITAP, see attached file) in Indonesia if you prove to be either a foreign investor (take your pick from Belgian, French, Dutch, Luxembourg, Australian!) or a director of a company (RENOV PUBS). This would mean having a bank account/s in Indonesia, where any ill-gotten gains/cash could be deposited and probably easier to "explain away" in Indonesia than in Australia, which may account (IMO) for Centrelink not finding a money/paper trail. CASH IS KING.

Maybe it happened like all the others - she suspected something was wrong for whatever reason and followed him back to Australia (which is why she arrived back a few days after him and didn't tell family). He used his charm and sweet talk to assure her everything was ok and persuaded her to withdraw cash for whatever he had told her the plan was (obviously something to do with Bali). Maybe it was even a change of plans - like they couldn't do whatever it was they were planning in Europe for whatever reason so he tempted her with Bali instead?

But I'm sure there is much more to Bali than we know - otherwise why would his daughter have her wedding there? (and please don't say its yet another coincidence).

And so far we have 3 women including Marion (if JH is correct).

What was it then that would convince Marion to fly all that way home on the pretence of going to Bali???

In light of IK's daughter’s recent revelations of her conversations with her biological father (AKA), it makes the death of IK at such a young age and the strange circumstances, extremely poignant.
