Didn’t he say they’re all dead now? I might get be wrongI wonder if police or detectives have interviewed his cousins/brothers in Belgium. And if not yet, why not?

Oh! That might be a great thing unless they’re of the same ilk.One is still alive
What about other family. Coppenolle Cousins? "Charlotte" might know a few family names.One is still alive

Looking forward to that interviewI am not sure on other family, I only know at least 1 brother/ cousin is still alive
Wouldn’t believe anything that came out of his mouth. Didn’t he say that AF had dementia and couldn’t put two sentences together…now we have seen in today’s article in the Australian that this was complete BS probably designed to deter anyone from contacting her to get the other side of the story.Didn’t he say they’re all dead now? That was incredulous to read. This man will stop at nothing to cover his behind.Wouldn’t believe anything that came out of his mouth. Marion being one?This guy is such a joke ... he should have just handed everyone he scammed his home address and contact telephone number .... De Hedervary the only one in Australia.
Absolutely no chance that DDH has never had a victim on her doorstep or chasing them down.

This type of crime never seems to be taken seriously by law enforcement not just in Australia. I don’t believe most romance scammers even think they are committing a real crime either. Robbing middle aged single woman appears to be fair game even now. Just laugh at the naivety of the victims. Hopefully Marion’s case and Sally’s dogged determination will change that view once and for all.It is amazing that Madame Flamme is still alive and totally has her wits about her and DOES NOT have dementia. But for her complaint in 2010 to not be delved into (or so it seems!) by someone in authority, is a great injustice not only to her, but to what has subsequently transpired in FdeH's conduct - fraud, theft, and whatever we are yet to learn about him. This laissez faire attitude by those with the power, was repeated when SL tried to get someone/anyone to listen to her at the time her mother went missing and it's still going on! "To hard to handle/that's not for our department/pass to another department/paper shuffling/ I don’t have the authority to follow up/we don't have jurisdiction in this area/get another state to look into it/paper shuffling/we can't release that information to the public/paper shuffling/too hard basket/let's archive it because no one will find it there/ oh…it's 4:00pm so time for me to knock off………" (Graphic courtesy of Trove)
Incomprehensible! The fact that it states int the title "who is wanted by Belgian police" was still not enough for Australian authorities to at the very least look into the archives of FdH is unbelievable.It is beyond logic isnt it @Lord Peter Flimsy !
Every single red flag was completely ignored for the past 50 years!!
@Liselle put it brilliantly too.
Didn’t he say they’re all dead now? I might get be wrong
And remember that Sally was blamed for ‘using the wrong words’ or similar, when reporting the disappearance, for it not being taken seriously by the police? I get that they need to deflect blame, but onto the victims daughter????? That made me so angry.This type of crime never seems to be taken seriously by law enforcement not just in Australia.
