I reckon that and centrelink should be done. I don't know if anyone has dobbed him and DDH in yet or not. My cerntrelink mate hadn't heard of them, but doesn't work there anymore, so he can't help unfortunately
There’s a Centrelink fraud tip-off line… maybe we could all bombard it :p
On a side note, I work for a different Qld Gov department and we are required to complete a suspected fraud of Centrelink form when we come to believe clients are dishonestly obtaining welfare etc. I would assume other departments such as police, justice, would be required not only in QLD but other states to do the same.
That’s not to say they have… as many government depts in several states have dropped the ball in this case!

I guess we only saw a bit of it in the video.

My first impression was it was a very modest house.
The house looked well maintained, probably recently renovated and painted and what we saw of the garden looked immaculate. I doubt that standard of property would come cheap. And that’s without even knowing the exact location or size of it.

Re newest episode of TLV.

J wrote on FB page earlier that it’s QLD time midnight.
Another 2 hours to wait… though they sometimes upload earlier. Fingers crossed!

In ballina houses are not cheap. Even in the 90’s the houses he was renting and the areas he was renting in ( when living up here ) would have been unaffordable on a pension. Blows my mind.

a few people I went to school with have no clue when I have told them what is going on with the inquest and investigation. I do see some posts in the Ballina community Facebook pages at times. Maite was in my grade at school but we weren’t ‘friends’ as such. But I remember she was in the popular group and was always travelling for swimming. I remember her always having money. But at the time I had no clue that her parents were on pensions. They lived in homes that had high rent as well, even my parents who both worked full time were not able to afford to live in the houses they lived in.
Thanks Justyce. MdeH would have been aged 15/16 at the time of Marion. I wonder if pupils (and parents) at the time remember the family moving to Wollongbar in 1997? Perhaps visited them there or picked MdeH up or dropped her off? Saw the Mitsubishi Magna? Did MdeH ever drive it?

Oh thanks, so we're not nearly there yet :)

Hmmm I was going to put off washing my hair, but now I have time.

I hadn’t seen him before the inques. I’m not sure if he was living back in ballina before then. I’ve only seen him several times in the last several months. I see his daughter all the time too. I have no clue how he affords to either rent the house he lives in or paid for it on a ‘disability pension ‘. The house is worth just shy of a million dollars.
According to realestate.com, it’s now worth just over 1m

I want a Chris Dawson type outcome in this case.

I guess it's too much to ask for :(

I’ve seen this type of thing before where those closest to the perpetrator threaten the victim when confronted over the family members behaviour and crimes.

How about taking some responsibility and consider and question how his father’s actions may have affected others (an elderly women in this case for God sake) both psychologically and financially.

Of course if he has disengaged with his father the question then is, why? What does he know?

At least Aka’s son still has a life unlike Marion’s.

Exactly, just the same kind of behaviour as his father. i have been trying to give the rest of the family the benefit of the doubt as it can’t have been easy with a father/husband like that but the more information that’s revealed, the more I’m struggling to maintain my original stance.

Good to know it can now be *proven* that RB's kids were notified of his scams, even if they deny involvement or connection, this is now proof that any monies they took from him or any expensive items he gifted them they had reason to believe were from scams or theft.

Very good point and it would be interesting to find out if this matched what they said in their police interviews.
