This just gets better and better.

SO many connections to places Ahole and associates lived

Wow… is it just me or… is this sounding all a bit incestuous?

I only got a little of the way through before I wanted to be sick.

@MrsWattle you were *loosely* acknowledged in your find of Richard West coin expert in the above paper IMO

And he could still have taken the name from the Journo discussed in above thread too.

Richard West obituary
Africa seems to be a continued common thread in his life IMO

He covers his tracks by adding various IDs together.

Like the Richard Westbury one = I am still convinced this relates to Southern Cross holdings

First time poster (long time and avid follower)...

We stopped off in Tyalgum, Northern NSW, over the Easter weekend and called into a lovely group of shops.
After we got home I googled we're we'd been, as it had strange vibes... and it was Flutterbies cafe. I had shivers straight away... Given the recent thread above, maybe it's worth revisiting this cult: Hermes Far Eastern Shining?
I know it was discounted way back when, but now with our knowledge of AKA it might make more sense (maybe AKA was involved rather than MB)???

- Episode 8 of TLV
- "Let's Start a Cult: Podcast" - "The Hermes Far Eastern Shining Cult - Curing the World One Grift at a Time"

My thoughts:
- MB would definitely have loved it there
- The group started with ideas from an Addida spirital leader (unsure of spelling) who loved to continually change his name
- Radom names of its leaders and members, similar to 'Florabella'
- Inference to 'Alchemy' - changing metals into gold
- "Love bombing:
https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/n...g/news-story/93aa6554401a0feba1d7e7c4c4e59cac
- Illusions of Grandier of the leaders
- Members were not to contact their families
- Draining money from members

Just my thoughts over the weekend after a strange visit...

How do you know MB would love it there...?

This group has been really researched with SL and team a long time ago.

IMO the Byron Bay group and Bali links are more in keeping with AKA tracks

Yes sorry, my wrong wording.
I just meant it might be worth revisiting given the new knowledge of AKA since they were last looked at?

Thanks very much for your post @LittleOscar.

You've painted a very good picture there and given me a lot to think about.

Cults have been mentioned before but it's nice to have a reminder and someone else's view is particulary valuable.

Welcome to Websleuths.

Nothing at all wrong with your wording.

Feel free to give all your ideas and thoughts.

Let's find out what happened to Marion!

Just revising a couple of the companies again

1. Robert Coppenolle - died 1963

Masonry and routine reinforced concrete work

same line of work as C&L CONSTRUCT / C&L CONSTRUCT SPRL

AC mentions C&L Construct at the inquest

Masonry and concrete works contractor

Enterprise Numbers for both company names - 0875.640.378

Manager (4)Coppenolle , WillySince September 20, 2006
Manager (4)Logier , MartinSince April 1, 2006
Manager (4)Nowacki , WaldemarSince April 1, 2006
Manager (4)Pankiewicz , JaroslawSince April 1, 2006

Registered address: Rue Beauchamp 7780 Comines-Warneton

Business name changes:
Scroll all the way to bottom number 10 and work up:

SAME address as Oriental Pearl

same enterprise number too = 0875.640.378

Not sure what Oriental Pearl was. Probably another phoenix company for money laundering.

I did find this though

The yacht's builder is Unknown from Greece who delivered the super yacht Orient Pearl in 1997

Probably unrelated but because it’s a coincidence I’ll mention it: there’s an oriental pearl restaurant in Ballina too.

No, I hear you and you’re coming at it from a new angle - that AKA could be the link. There are no bad ideas in this crazy story, we could never have imagined where it’s gone so far and re-examining old leads with what we know now is actually a really interesting thought!

Also - cults attract and prey on people at vulnerable times. AKA seems to have similar MO. Why not combine the two. The method of meeting has varied so far as far as we know - ads / business groups etc - why not this or similar? I also wonder how well he’s integrated with the online world in more recent times.

Can anyone remember how the TLV team even got onto the "cult" ( far shining people) idea way back in the podcast - was it a tip or just a random theory ?

At the start of Episode 8 they say they received "1 confidential email and a facebook message from 2 different people telling us to investigate HFES". This episode was in May 2019, so before knowing AKA?
