I think I’ve worn out those Inquest videos. Be glad to get some new ones. Times I’ve fallen asleep listening to Aka and his wife!!

With those 2 it is always best to get it on replay and speed it up 2x. Even then it seems slow. “I, I, I, I, I, I, I can’t remember…”

Recently read a post here about Leslie helping pack MB’s tea chests. I had no idea that they did in fact exist and were not more RB fantasy! Was it usual at the time to pack for a big move or storage in tea chests?

I always thought tea chests was something you’d use for an OS move

So -- MB expected and was planning for an OS move? How did I miss this in all these years. Wouldn't Leslie have asked her why she was packing things in that manner? I certainly would have.

in UK years ago, tea chests were used to pack crockery etc for a house move. however, those tea chests had no lid and would not have been suitable for storage that wasn't secure or for an overseas move.

Yes in the 90s people used tea chests, as they are called, for home removals, storage, international freight / overseas shipping and they are still sold online for the same purpose. I think they are perceived as being more sturdy than a cardboard box, less easily broken into, and also conform to some type of known size standard for the purposes of shipping.

I guess if Marion believed she was going travelling for a year and then purchasing a house either in Australia or relocating overseas, either way she might have logically decided on using tea chests?

Less than 1 hour to go now.

Fingers crossed for Sally and Marion

Not long now. I live a couple of hours south and have considered going but for now I'm watching on zoom.

Thinking of Sally and all who are invested and hope we finally get some answers.

Can someone keep those who can’t listen updated?!

Hi all, long time follower (and admirer of all your sluething), first time poster. I am unable to watch the inquest because I am at work. I am hoping that one of you could kindly post updates during the day?

I wonder if it will still be the walking frame.
Or maybe a wheelchair. For added sympathy.

Or maybe he really does need aids for getting around these days.

Do we know if he’ll be giving additional “evidence” today?

Told friends not to call me, or visit :)
