I’m not sure how else they would’ve achieved answer’s without knocking on his door. After all, it did get them to where they are now. The police were not doing anything at all. It forced the NSW Police to act.

It wasn't the fact that they knocked on the door.
It was the straight out accusation that he put the ad in the Australian paper.

When trying to register from the UK it asks for a postcode but doesn’t recognise one. Is it looking for an Australian postcode?

You’ve got to expect that with this kind of program. At least they might pick up a lot more viewers and interest in this case having it run over 2 weeks. The more publicity the better. There have to be more victims out there.

I would have done exactly the same thing. They were acting on information that connected him to Marion. If they didn't pursue it would they have found out that AKA had stolen his identity?

As I mentioned previously, I looked into the Brabant gang a year or so ago and discounted AKA as LeGéant as he was reported to be 6’ 5 » in most reports. I don’t know why Liam said AKA was 6’4 » he is more like 6’2 ». Not many witness statements about LeGéant mention a limp and in some reports it’s uncertain if they are even referring to Le Géant. Le Géant was also reported to have a wine stain birthmark in some reports. My view is that it was a gang of multiple tall criminals also with one being exceptionally tall. I have always Felt AKA was connected in some way…just not Le Géant.
I see a strong chance of Le Géant being « The Gentleman of Heligoland »

I thought it was the wrong approach to accuse him, because even then I had my doubts that it would have been him.

I thought they handled it unfairly then, and I still think that.
