I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, Uh, Uh, I, I, Ah, I, can't, I, I, I, don't meh, meh, I, I, can't, remember

I'm starting to consider that the number of 'I' equals the number of shifting ego defence states he's got. When the question is difficult, he scans thru each defence until one state responds.

I appreciate this has probably been long since much debated but is it possible she misremembered the name of the band, mixing them up for a similarly popular one, or transposed the years of two different bands she liked?

I once worked with a guy who was a computer programmer and analytical genius. He told me how usually if people aren't lying on purpose and they truly believe their account, it can be because they've transposed two elements. Something to do with how the memory works.
The band Silverchair was Australian royalty in the 1990’s so I think it would be difficult to mix them up. As Gymtonic said it was the whole Homebake festival that was only in Byron that year.

It is possible to remember the two incidents and just have them confused in your mind but she was so sure which is what would make me place little weight on what she said now that I remember what she said. If she didn’t mention homebake or silverchair it would be a different story!

I hear you. Then something is afoot IMO and obv the relevant professionals will have picked up on this matter so it would appear to be a pretty solid clue.

Mr Blums evidence has concluded.

So on the PVR did I just see RB walking unaided??

"She was living her life". Uh that's so sad because this is the exact pattern where he reverses the truth and it starts with the questions 'how would I know' or 'how could I do that' etc. Then he states the lie. That's a pattern. Maybe he knows she wasn't living her life :(

Oh this is very clever. They have put him between a rock and a hard place... RB has to admit he either lied in his earlier testimony that he knew nothing of MB's disappearance OR he lied yesterday about Marion telling him she wanted to separate from her family. But he wouldn't back down from either stance yet both can't be true, so he is a liar!!!!

No, instead he says there’s something wrong with his head. No S*** Sherlock.

One would like to think it was clever, but no, AKA, Can't remember... His brain doesn't work like theirs APPARENTLY....

That's why he also needs a complete thorough examination of his whole body by an independent doctor so that we know if he is making things up or he has a case.

Can today please PLEASE be the day he's carried out in handcuffs?

I'm asking this because I can't remember. I thought it was to officially open an investigation into Marion's disappearance; to establish evidence that supports the fact that she did not vanish of her own will and that she is dead. So for now the inquest is focusing on Marion fitting a pattern of women who were defrauded cruelly and criminally by the same man. Once they do that, do they then have to start a NEW investigation into the perpetrator of her death? I don't understand if Inquest #1 (this one) can establish anything more than Marion's being dead and that she was part of serial fraud. OR can this inquest also recommend that RB is responsible for Marion's disappearance?
Great question!

I am so curious as to know who the other witnesses are going to be.

Enough of the Sherlock references, you will give him ideas for a new alias!!!!!

Indeed. He's consistently tried to suggest he can't be held responsible for things he's said (or done) in any previous moments prior to the present moment. As if whomsoever said those things was in fact not him but someone else / other people who he sometimes admits are other, previous, versions of himself but for whom he cannot take account. He frequently attributes 'blame' for discrepancies to any other arbitrary person at hand.

At the same time he resolutely disowns all his criminal behaviour and projects it directly onto his victims in a perfect example of 'reversing victim and offender' tactic (DARVO). It seems bizarre but sadly this is pretty clear cut stuff IMO and the legal professionals here know what they're dealing with.
