Saw this on the Missing Person MB page just now regarding the doorbell. Why can't they just be upfront :(
My money is on L. Blum the photographer. Maybe they thought that post was an interesting read 😉

I think it's fair enough that they hold off until they have all the confirmed information.
But that's the thing; they aren't holding off; they're dangling snippets when they could just wait until they can confirm and then tell all.

And sends sleuths who are spending time and effort in the quest for Justice for Marion and his other victims on wild goose chases in the meantime.
It's manipulative.

It certainly is.

It's become a game of its own.
That's why so many aren't interested anymore. People just want the facts, plain and simple and a resolution of sorts.

This site alone has been going 7 yrs
Other sites probably just as long.

There's a manipulation of the highest order with RB alone, that the public have tried to help find info on.
Then you have "some" outing the public help, whether any information found is relevant or not, its not up to the public to know what's valid and what isn't. We don't have the BOE.

Can't ask for info, " any little piece may hold the key", then out the hands that feed it.

Now the public have to play the "what is it" game, trying to piece together anything that may help, when all along the hand already holds the cards.

I personally don't believe Marion herself would be wanting her case played out on a public manipulation game board.

But that's just me, thinking about if it was my own family member. I'd be finally laying it all in the table, where I legally can, and finally tying up those loose ends that the public have invested years of their own life on.

But no.

Let's play games.

Yes , the book does mention a number of things that contradict SL investigations

Even one that says he introduced himself to Diane as FdeH on the Chusan. Maybe he did or maybe they just used what he said at the inquest.

If you believe Dianes testimony and the MB FB Page, she said he was WW when she met him but called him Ric because Fredy sounded like a frog in Australia.

So was he WW, FdeH or Fredy Wouters to Diane on the ship. He used FD alias so I'm banking he used that name with Diane.

Round and round in circles.

They use A LOT of his testimony at the inquest to tell the story. So a LOT of BS will be read by the public and believed.

Imagine the confusion to the general public here in Australia that have watched it all unfold in the newspapers, the inquest, the MB FB PAGE, LR podcast, TLV Podcast, the television segments and now a book which contradicts so much of what SL has uncovered with her team.

Sorry but I'm not a fan of AS as a journo. Very sloppy IMO
Does anyone else find her voice grating or is it just me?

That is very sad to learn Janet has passed away. Her evidence was invaluable to this case. So glad she managed to escape the jaws of this monster.

Also the other information is very enlightening and helps build a further picture of this guy and his methods.
Very sad to hear JO passed.

Do you think the letters she was asked to write is any indication on his intention for how this con would end?

I know some of us speculate that his mo is not to kill, but for me the letter is a big red flag. How many family's have a similar letter and have no idea what manipulation lies behind it.

RIP JO

Yes, definitely IMO. Perfect way to cover your tracks should you need to resort to homicide in order to get to the money.

It certainly appears that Law Enforcement and members of Marion’s own family were taken in by the uncorroborated statement that Marion didn’t want anything to do with her family any longer.

The Lille episode of the new podcast was the worst yet. They really needed a producer to shape the story, give it context and especially to teach them how to record audio.

I would also like to know if JO was ever asked if the pendant Diane wore to Maite's wedding in Bali was similar or even exactly like her Navaho necklace that was taken?

I agree, they really need help with the podcast. I find it rambles with no real point to the episodes. They also seemed quite unprepared for the trip? Does anyone know if a private investigator has ever been hired to help?

I agree the podcast is amateurish and only of interest to the case’s most diehard fans. It shows how difficult a podcast is to produce well, for all the criticism of TLV.

But who or what in the world could properly investigate this crime? Certainly not Australian police! They can’t even function in their own language. And what kind of PI could manage all these countries? RB has used his multinational connections and aliases to get away with everything.

My hope was on Australian officials settling on tax, benefits and or immigration fraud. And that no longer seems likely. I can’t see what else Sally can do.

I'm torturing myself by listening to it all again because I've noticed a few things that have contradicted previous said accounts

I have to ask also WHY does the public need to hear the airport boarding announcement and pilot when J makes her way to NSW

It was like listening to the shoe purchase on TLV! WHO CARES.

Then they talk about how much it is costing for flights, accommodation etc. Why?? Don't go if you can't afford it. Although there seems to be an ongoing public money box for donations. Why are the public donating for answers that aren't forthcoming? It really has become a spinner. I dont think I've ever known another missing persons case that continuously asks for donations but gives the public nothing.

It would have been a more captive audience podcast if the facts were laid out each episode without the fodder.

Even with the "professionalism" of long term journalists in TLV podcast, it was at times unbearable.
Not being used to doing a podcast , SL and J should just stick with one episode at a time, tying up each loose thread with fact. Forget the fodder, no one is interested, in fact most have already moved on after what is nearing a decade in itself.

Now we have J cliffhangers on the doorplate saying we know about this now, then S saying we don't know what it's about . Huh?

I think @Carovb5 is right. They thought they knew then when Carov posted about Leon, it was back to the drawing board 😂

MC wouldn't be helping them thats a given.

But seriously, HOW much longer is this going to drag on.

Why use the same manipulative tactics AH uses?

I am starting to notice though that there have been some discrepancies within the story. Has anyone else?

Yes these are all the things that should have been mentioned in this new podcast.
It completes the story, whether fact or fiction.
There are so many of these that haven't been forthcoming.

It's really tiresome.

People don't care about more podcasts that are filled with fodder.

It's just a building foundation exercise for something bigger I reckon.

Hello movie/ documentary/ TShirts/ Book.
Oh wait, we have the TShirts and book 😂

Yes they did have one who they got rid of because he got too close to the truth re Marion and a connection to TSS and AH and was told to move on

Interesting eh?
Very interesting! I feel like I may have missed some important info so I’ll have to go back and listen to TLV again

You will have to go back to the beginning to get a snippet.

But the real truth wasn't revealed on the podcast nor with SL.
The team from TLV even told one investigator "thanks but we will take it from here". Neither party wanted the truth of what happened re TSS and MB to be told.

I can speak of at least two investigators who have spent a lot of time, and used their own resources general public are not able to access, to find information, ancestry, addresses, names, businesses, etc etc and have attempted to furnish SL with this information and were met with gatekeeping and nothing to assist further with several leads.
They're too scared to confirm facts that prove the story has been manipulated to garner sales and followers.
It probably wasn't intended, however as it was monetised, an image was created and required to be maintained.
MOO MOE IMOO JMOO
