Tromp daughter charged with stealing car, as questions remain over family mystery

SEPTEMBER 5, 20162:04PM

"POLICE have charged Ella Tromp with stealing a car in the latest twist in the family saga that’s gripped Australia.
Victoria police confirmed two charges have been laid, after inquiries from news.com.au.

A spokeswoman said a 22-year-old Silvan woman was charged with theft of a motor vehicle and possessing the proceeds of a crime [the car] on August 30 in Victoria. She was bailed to appear at Ringwood Magistrates Court on April 19, 2017.
Her sister Riana was also charged with theft of motor vehicle, but the charge has since been dismissed under section 33 of the Mental Health Act of NSW.

No other charges were expected against any other family member, police said, despite time and resources in two states being spent hunting for the family."

What if... Ella stole the car, and this whole MP carnival show was just an act to cover it up.

Erghhhh i would hate to see this family profit from their story..

As interview talent, this family is as good as it gets,” said one source.

“They’re an attractive, seemingly well-off family with a bizarre story to tell. There are so many questions remaining, which only they can answer.”

Industry insiders said the story would be worth “at least $100k — possibly much more if a bidding war breaks out. They’d be willing to go up to $200k — keeping in mind that budgets have been cut”.

What is Mark's brother's name and rank?

"Mr Tromp's brother Ken Tromp, a policeman based at Yarra Ranges station Monbulk, is understood to be in the north-east searching for him with other relatives."

Prime, could you elaborate a bit?

Imo, Jacoba and Riana have been under duress for a long time due to one person, if he's in their ear, day and night, no escape, the mind just can't cope. I don't think the hospital staff will return them home until they're strong enough.

I was waiting for this.

Yeah, those kids are NQR ... They don't realise how normal siblings conduct themselves physically for a start, even in traumatic circumstances. If there isn't proper intervention here something bad will happen.

How do you mean about not conducting themselves normally 'physically' oz? What red herring have I missed?

Yes, completely agree. With the current situation, the media shouldn't even be entertaining the thought of buying their story.

I'm unfortunately not surprised [at the suggestion the story will be sold] though.

I'm obviously not ozazure, but I thought it was a little odd the way that Mitch and Ella were constantly holding hands, or hugging each other, when in front of the media.
I was afraid to mention it, as they would need each other's support during this stressful time. But I haven't seen a brother and sister act quite like that, physically, in media interviews before.
Combined with their responses, something about it all made me get a Stepford Wives vibe, if that makes sense.

I wonder if that is what ozazure noticed too.

If someone showed me any of the pictures from their FB before the trip, or their media appearances afterwards, without knowing the context I would guess they are boyfriend and girlfriend. Head to head, entwined fingers, full body hugs - not saying this is wrong per se, but it is unusual and I would say most people who are affectionate with their grown siblings are so in subtly less intimate ways.

Yep that is exactly it, it is not "expected" ... are they too sheltered to realise?
