This man should have been locked up years ago! How on earth he was still free to walk around I will never know! Released on bail? He was a very evil and dangerous man!

Sending my deepest sympathy to all in Australia today/tonight from the uk. Xx

I hope we soon learn of the GF's whereabouts. It/she makes me uneasy. I'm confident LE has been all over it but would like to hear for some peace of mind.

Not stupid at all. They closed down all of their stores today, all of them, while the siege was happening. They did everything they could to make sure that more of their staff wouldn't be hurt, and understood how upset they all were.

And their chocolate is yum ....

:grouphug: massive hugs to everyone, I think I must pass out any moment. TY all our overseas friends for the support.

So glad this is over.

I hope tomorrow sees the hostages recovering well.

I hope tomorrow sees our innocent Muslim citizens safe, and not held accountable for this dangerous, psychopathic madman.

More hugs. :grouphug:

ISIS so far appear to not be touching this with a barge pole.

So far.

They wont like it that he sexually assaulted Muslim women, thats a no go area however infidel females are another matter

Police round the corner, fire at door it shatters, then volley of flash bangs & shots follow. Much better view & angle than previously shown.

However, later in 2008, Monis/Boroujerdi's activities drew the attention of real Shia'a religious leaders in Australia who asked Australian security agents to investigate him. In an Australian article titled, "Call to probe mystery Shia cleric," it was reported that:

FEDERAL agents have been urged by the nation's senior Shia leader, Kamal Mousselmani, to investigate an Iranian man purporting to be a prominent Islamic cleric.

Sheik Mousselmani told The Australian yesterday the mystery cleric - who has been identified as Ayatollah Manteghi Boroujerdi on his website after appearing under the name Sheik Haron - was not a genuine Shia spiritual leader.

He said there were no ayatollahs - supreme Shia scholars - in Australia and none of his fellow spiritual leaders knew who Ayatollah Boroujerdi or Sheik Haron was.

"We don't know him and we have got nothing to do with him," Sheik Mousselmani said. "The federal police should investigate who he is. It should be their responsibility."

The site is very critical of Australia. But lots of info on Haron.
