Plenty of time according to the statements given to police.
Do we know yet what happened the minute the last AFP vehicle drove away?

Nope. We don't even know what the 'party' was about that night. We have just taken a hundred wild guesses.

We do know that Melissa deferred a meeting with a friend that night, to discuss Christmas plans. And didn't mention the AFP raid when she deferred. Not that I would expect her to, highly embarassing and something she might have been able to keep quiet ... if she hadn't disappeared.

Security camera information I just quickly rustled up. Remember there are different types of security cameras.

"When a camera is disconnected from the video feed (or loses power), an alarm is triggered. Whenever tampering is detected, (camera is moved, sudden change in lighting, signal becomes flaky, network/communication connection goes down, etc.), an alarm is triggered."
What happens if you unplug a security camera? - Quora

If it's an infrared IP security camera, you are able to see small red lights around the lens of the security camera in the dark, when this security camera is on. It's also a quick way to tell if a security camera has night vision. You can use a book or any covers to block the light falling on your security camera. Is that an Esky or his tool box in the front of the van, between the seats?
This?

I think it's a reflection of the Google car.

Yes, we're all getting a good brain workout.
On the 60mins episode when MC's previous client mentioned the text message I immediately thought, "Was it really MC that sent the text?"

Thanks JLZ.

I saw one of these drive down the main Street when I was out shopping last week, I did a double take as I'd never seen one before and thought, "what is that?!"

Everyone I really have to get some work done.
I googled, 'How to avoid CCTV' and I REALLY want to read it all but maybe someone else can dig around?

YouTube seems to have a few vids about crims outsmarting and evading CCTV

Could be interesting, could be rubbish.
Bye for now!

IMO
Despite never having any type of social media account, ever... After MC disappeared, I was able to see AKs supacarxrap company full fb site - which had two Canadian property Real Estate Agent companies in Edmonton, Alberta in the 'related' section on the right half way down. Can't view today - or the cached version. Maybe somebody here can still access pages to see if the related Canadian agents are still on supacarxrap fb site or have been removed.

Both agents were located near the Whistler ski fields in Canada.

IMO This raises the possibility that AK may have been the travel booker/property finder, at some point?

Holiday rental, property purchase or bolthole?
Media reports $43,273 spent at Whistler.

(supacarxrap in same naming style as AKs supacarxposed and supacarxcite companies and MCs salesxecution)

All publicly available information.

I agree that Melissa would have thought she might have been able to avoid severe punishment for her crimes. She had shredded many documents, no doubt also deleting many online/PC files as well.
Melissa definitely looked angry in the raid footage. But her home was prepared for it - other than her personal designer effects.

I disagree that she had no time to advise her son/family that she was leaving. She had plenty of time for notes or even a quick chat and reassurance.

I think it is possible that Melissa's anger spilled over into something bigger that night.
She would have been angry that all of her ‘designer’ ill gotten gains were being taken away in bags.

I agree with you. AK, OC or her family were not likely to to tell police (or anybody else for that matter) that MC left a note or phoned them to tell them that she was going to commit suicide the next morning or where she was going to hide away. That note would have been destroyed pronto.

The female Police Officer said in the 60 Minutes episode that both AK and OC looked "calm". IMO looking "calm" would not be a normal reaction if they did not know where she was. Normally, you would be frantic, speaking to the media and have Missing Persons notices everywhere.

I wonder if any of her neighbours ever saw her walking the dogs? I cant imagine her carrying a bag full of Prada faeces... I wonder whether she developed a good route with no cameras for picking up after her dogs? Maybe she used this regularly and kept it in mind for an escape plan.... Has anyone come forward with any cctv of her at any time in her area at all??
Or did she have a dog walker?
Was the dog walker at the house in the critical hours after the raid or ever since?
There must be more information available...

I seem to remember that AK claimed that MC went walking every morning but neighbours and police denied this. Also MC had a sore ankle so a walk that morning was deemed unlikely.

Noticed this a while back - pleased you posted. Electrician, plumber or comms installer ? (pipe or conduit tube on roof?).

In Oct 19, Google Street View shows a dark VW car parked right outside the house with a prominent windscreen sunshade advertising Diamond Property Group (diamondpropgroup.com). Link to photo: Google Maps

That's strange because that link does not work and it re-directs you to a real estate company in South Africa. In fact, most businesses with that name are involved in real estate. I would therefore assume you would phone them if you wished to sell your house or if you had leased the property, you would phone them if you wanted a maintenance service.

IMO this is a red herring. Just because a car is parked out the front of a house, does not necessarily mean that the driver is visiting the house where the car is parked outside.

Police usually recommend that people close to the family of a missing person hide (or delete) their FB account in order to stop curious people from getting private information about them. So I doubt it could be accessed by anyone now. Some sleuthers early to a case copy and paste their FB pages. But police make sure they have access to all relevant FB posts and their friends so that they are able to question them if and when relevant.

This article is dated 21 February, 2021 so it is new information to me. In an earlier article many of MC's trips were listed and none of them were to Vancouver but there were many trips to USA so perhaps they flew to Seattle then took a helicopter flight to Whistler. They seemed to have gone skiing overseas in OC's Christmas holidays for a few weeks every year but mostly to Aspen. This might explain the cost of $43,293 for a holiday at Whistler. IMO it would have been a holiday rental.

Do we have any information on whom the tradie was that frequented the property or lived in the property. Or was this simply AK? Was it a tradie? A bag drop?
I feel that the police should make enquiries on the owner of the vehicle in front of the house on google street view on:
November 15 (old white unmarked Toyota) and; December 18. (newer white VW Caddy van)
Different unmarked vehicles with very similar or identical equipment on the roof , roof racks and tie down system.
On November 15 the tradie can be seen walking into the front of the house.
Once would be a coincidence. But to be spotted a second time three years later means this person was connected to this property.
What was their trade? was any vehicle in the area that looked like this at the time of the disappearance?

New Article in The Australian tonight ....

Paraphrased

ASIC has filed more than three dozen new charges against Melissa Caddick, despite police believing that MC died after fleeing her home.

Ms Caddick, has been charged with 19 counts of falsely claiming to have a financial services licence.(AFSL)

Ms Caddick was also charged with 18 counts of dishonest conduct in relation to financial products and services and one count of “not holding Australian financial services licence when required”.

The charges, list 29 individuals and investment companies as victims. and were obtained by The Weekend Australian,

The charges were filed at a Sydney local court on Friday (I haven't found them yet.... can anybody assist with this please)

But an arrest warrant issued by the regulator for Ms Caddick in February has been revoked.

The matter will be heard in court on Tuesday.

Pool man unlikely to have a ladder or 20cm pipe storage tube on roof of van.

Clipsal brand logo on van roof-storage tube.

Definitely electrician or comms guy.
