It was noted on the actual mortgage document, as an annexure, IIRCC
But that is the only other place I can recall...
I don't recall that but I haven't seen it for a while. It sounds really unlikely.

Another point about the Edgecliff Property - if MC was purchasing the property, with intent of her parents being "tenants for life" wouldn't she have paid a mortgage insurance so that in the event of her death the mortgage was paid out???
To ensure she was looking after parents???

Obviously not, it would seem ..... but wouldn't a normal decent person have done this?? However, MC definitely not "normal" or "decent".

The document was posted to the thread some time ago..... I cant remember when, or if it was in the threads that were deleted or not??

Is this what you're referring to? (from the title, in AG's affidavit 8 April). Edit: sorry, affidavit of 16 December, posted up on court documents 8 April. And I should have linked it: ouch, no I shouldn't, not like that.

SECOND SCHEDULE (2 NOTIFICATIONS)

---------------

1 INTERESTS RECORDED ON REGISTER FOLIO CP/SP21608

2 AM126541 MORTGAGE TO NATIONAL AUSTRALIA BANK LIMITED

I don't think we ever cleared up what the first notification was referring to. I thought it might have had something to do with it being a strata title.

Sorry I don't have time to try and find it now, work is calling.....

Hopefully someone can remember where they posted it???

OK. I don't think I've seen anything other than the title search document. But I haven't read all the material.

I find it amazing there’s been so little reference in the affidavits to the accountants and the people who had access to her accounts. Also, anyone know when the coroner report should be made public and what investigations as to her last movements had yielded?

Welcome to the thread Rumi

The Police haven't briefed the Coroner as yet....
Police were supposed to brief the Coroner on 17th June but they weren't ready ....... could be weeks or months....

(a) the due date for the brief to the coroner is due 17 June 2021; (b) it is unlikely the brief will be submitted by the specified date; (c) it is too early to say whether the Coroner will direct a coronial inquest; and ( d) the post-mortem has been completed however the pathology reports are not available yet and it is unclear at this stage if the pathologist can determine the condition of the remains. A copy of this email (MAL.0003.0023.0001) is at annexed to this affidavit and mark
Affidavit-of-Isabella-Lucy-Allen-affirmed-17-May-2021.pdf (fedcourt.gov.au)

And see Page 11 Letter from Police (same link)

Yeah ifs cte~nltely been a busy time for everyone. I have six staff preparing the brief at the moment. Our due date was 17 June but I don't anticipate lt being done by this time Could take a few extra weeks or months, It's a bit hard to say at this stage. We're getting statements off all the Investors/associates/family members etc and all Police Involved in the response. So there IJ quit ~ bit to compile. It Is too eat1v 10 s;ay Whtther the Coroner will direct an Inquest. They may be satisfied based on the full brief of evidence we prOllide. But I won't know until the Coroner has reviewed 1he brief. 10 No I don't have any p1thology reporli yet The post mortem has been completed. It'll probably take a few more weeks to set this Info. It may or may not be something the pathologist can determine depending on the condition of the remains. Thanks. Michael. Not Melissa, a case in the UK. Looks like they're not just assuming the person is dead after finding a foot.

Police search for left foot amputee two years after body part found

Detective Chief Inspector Alan Curtis has put out an appeal to speak to any woman in the Humberside or Lincolnshire area that has had her left foot amputated via medical procedures since 2014.

He said: “A team of detectives have been working tirelessly to ascertain the identity of the individual and to determine how the body part came to be on the path.

“One line of our enquiry is that the foot may have been clinical waste from a medical procedure.

“This line of enquiry cannot be ruled out without a full and thorough investigation.

LOL They'll :)
I haven't really noticed the cold so much today, but it's been raining for two days now.
I have a warm cosy spot and as long as it's not minus something I'm happy :)

Oh I see it's almost 9 degrees which is practically tropical :D:

I'm wondering why you're referring to the wrong affidavit. "Page 7, para S" is in the Gleeson affidavit. FYI.

I am wondering why certain individauls are so keen to shoot the messenger.
Yes its the Gleeson affidavit. dated 4 May 2021.
Page 6 (comprises of clauses q - w), not page 7 as I incorrectly referred too. It was an honest mistake.
Specifically I was refering to sub clause S, on page 6!
Eitherway the point I was trying to make was lost, to some.

If I understand you--yes there is a link between a conspicuous absence in that paragraph and the reason the forum was closed and threads deleted. There is no mystery about the latter. I don't know whether ASIC interviewed someone and purposely left him off the list--or weren't able to do that interview--or weren't sufficiently interested.

I think IMO there was a certain amount of "pressure" from those higher up not to pursue that individual(s). Glad to see someone else on the same page as me.
