A 24-year-old woman and her two-year-old son have not been seen since boarding a train in Sydney’s west on Friday. Melissa Walker and her son were travelling from Penrith to Cootamundra last week and failed to return home to Sydney on Sunday as expected.

The pair may be in the company of an unknown man.

A search was launched to find the young mother and her child and they were found safe and well in Cootamundra just after 11 o'clock last night. '
