"The jury heard Mr Huxley, who owned marine maintenance business, “was stabbed to death” with one of the wounds severing an artery in his neck.

The bedroom of the Watson St apartment had “large amount of blood pooled” on the bed, stains on the wall, and dripping patterns on the floor.

“It is likely Mr Huxley was stabbed as he lay on the bed,” Mr McGrath told the jury."
