Have you seen missing man Nick Eade?

Police are appealing for information to locate a man last seen leaving his home in Dee Why two weeks ago.

Nick Eade, aged 37, left his Dee Why home on the morning of Tuesday 26 November 2013 to go to work and failed to return home.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, with a stocky build, shaved head and a large tattoo on his left arm.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about Mr Eade’s whereabouts to come forward.

I can't find any info on finding his car.

I can't now, either, but there was earlier- found in Cremorne, I believe. I will see if I can find a link elsewhere.

Then he has been without transport for a week. Wonder if it was locked when they found it. Maybe someone found it somewhere else took it for a joy ride and dumped it there. We are still none the wiser whether he is safe and well. But without transport he could be out in the elements and if unwell could be wandering anywhere. Does anyone know what the weather has been like in that area over the last week.
Just as well it wasn't in Melbourne as we have had non stop rain.

Weather's been great - high 20's up to mid 30's with very warm nights.

Did he normally keep in contact with her during the day? I think sometimes when somebody seems to give out too much info, they are throwing them off track. If he normally didn't let her know what his day was like, and when he would be home, he may have been buying time. Just a thought.

This is a timeline taken from the Missing FB page -

THIS IS WHAT WE KNOW:
26 Nov Nick sent a loving text to wife Trish in the afternoon and said he’d be home at 7pm that evening.

30 Nov Reported sighting of Nick at Mullumbimby RSL and Byron Bay area

09 Dec Activity on his account at a Brookvale location, however it remains unconfirmed that it is him using the card - no CCTV to confirm and it could be someone else we are unsure.

10 Dec Nick’s car found in Cremorne, been there for at least a week due to parking tickets. His phone is in the car.

I'd been thinking about Nick and wondered what had transpired since the thread originated. And now I've just read this update! It concerns me that his phone was found in the car. That entertains all sorts of scenarios ie he was ambushed or, he was in a hurry or, he left the phone behind voluntarily. I wonder if he had arranged to meet someone there? Cremorne is 11.5kms from his Dee Why home but on the opposite side of the Harbour ie over the Harbour Bridge, for those that dont live locally. Would he usually frequent Cremorne? SO. MANY. QUESTIONS.

I just wanted to check I'm not missing something. Cremorne is next to neutral bay and he wouldn't have needed to cross the bridge to get there from dee why. Or are you meaning he worked in the city so would have needed to cross the bridge to dump the car after work?

Where he left the car is right near a main road with lots of bus links (no train ones directly nearby but they are easily accessible by bus etc).

Yes, you are right. He would need to cross the Spit Bridge, NOT the Harbour Bridge. Doink!

"he was in good spirits but would be home a bit later than normal: "I had a good food meeting, actually it was prob the best one i've done to date ... won't be able to get out by 5.30-6 tonight sorry. Love you heaps xx."

"That was the last she heard from Mr Eade. He walked out of work early and vanished."

What's with the contradiction of when he was leaving work?? Was he planning on secretly meeting someone so told Trish he'd be late?

30 Nov Reported sighting of Nick at Mullumbimby RSL and Byron Bay area

I live in Mullumbimby, its a very small country town just inland from Byron Bay, not that hard to miss people. I was just thinking that this guys face looks soooooo familiar, that maybe he is on TV and not just in production. But perhaps he has a double here in Mullumbimby/Byron? Or maybe I have just seen his face lately......it pays to pay attention, will keep my eyes open. I got the shivers when I saw his photo.

Is there CCTV footage of him leaving work? Has this been reproduced in the media? Was he alone?

Keep your eyes peeled, Pushka. If he IS in Mullimbimby, I doubt you'd miss him. But I fear he may have moved on given the publicised sighting.

O/T Could he be experiencing some sort of psychotic episode? If he does suffer mental illness which is controlled with medication, would it be safe to assume he doesn't have his medication with him?
