I hope someone comes forward soon with some info. Looks like the police have hit a dead end. I think JC thinks he is bulletproof. I would love to know the background story on his first wife.

Interesting to see that no customer feedbacks or testimonials have been posted on the Inox Facebook page since Novy's disappearance https://www.facebook.com/INOXlubricants/notes and also interesting to note that there were posts by Inox on their Facebook page days after her disappearance, yet nothing mentioned about Novy... If my wife was missing (even if the marriage was failing) I think I would be using any form of social media to try and find out her whereabouts at least for the sake of the kids... I would have thought a post about "Have you seen Novy" would have been more normal.

Agree Mr Concerned, the number of arrows pointing in the very same one direction is incredible. I have a feeling this thread will explode very soon - hopefully before the 14th of July.
BTW: As posted earlier JC is scheduled for a mention in Southport Magistrates Court on Tuesday at 9am.
It should show up on this list Tuesday morning (will try to verify with the registry Monday).

Fingers crossed for some news this week.

I wonder how much JC will say in court on the charges he is currently being investigated on?... I doubt his lawyers will allow him to say very much because I imagine his ego would give us something like that from A Few Good Men and when under cross examination he could say something like "You can't handle the truth"... I honestly think his ego will be his un-doing one day because he loves to brag about himself like he is a god...one day something will slip from his mouth and it will be just the piece of evidence that Is required for police to place charges against those involved..

I think he will stay silent for sure.

My finger is pointing at his daughter or daughters being a big piece to his puzzle. It makes sense for them to have been trusted to move Novy's car while overseas. One would follow daddy's orders as they are next in line to the keys to the kingdom so to speak. I really hope Novy's family gains full custody of those poor kids.

I lived in a house that backed onto Kopps Road Oxenford at the time of Novy’s disappearance. I and other neighbours saw a black new model 4wd hurriedly parked on Kopps Road with its wheels over the line just enough so that passing cars had to veer around it. We all reported this to the police.

Weeks later I saw emergency workers and police dogs searching bushland at the entry to Kopps Road just beyond the roundabout. I telephoned police to advise them they were searching in the wrong area, the car had been seen much further along Kopps Road. Police attended my house then drove me to the police station to make a formal statement. I told them about a neighbour who had also seen the police searching and knew they were conducting it in the wrong place. They never contacted her. And they never searched in the correct area.

There are no houses on Kopps Road and no street lighting. To the left is natural bushland, very wide and very dense. That land belongs to Warner Bros Movieworld, it is overgrown, steep, runs down to a river, and on the other side of the river are the Movieworld sound studios. No-one ever ventures there, only wild hares and kangaroos. It’s a very thick and wide area. To the right of Kopps Road is more bushland and the rear boundary fences of homes. Police only searched on the right side of Kopps Road, near the roundabout. They should have been searching on the left side of Kopps Road, about 1.5 klm further along. Locals never understood why the police dogs were not just put on long leads and allowed to track right down to the creek with their handlers.

Thank you VERY much for providing us with that information.

Could you tell us approximately where on Kopps Road it was located? (maybe you can use the house numbers on Davis Cup Court as an indication - as I guess it was somewhere near here)
We are also VERY curious to hear how long this "black new model 4wd" was seen parked here. When was it first/last seen?
Did you notice the "My Family" stickers (two kids and their mum) in the lower left corner of the rear window and in the lower right corner a sticker from a college in Coomera (three lines of text and this logo).
Did it look like the Volvo XC90 in these photos?:

Hello. No, the car was much further down Kopps Road, long before California Ave. On that map, drag back to the right till you reach the roundabout. The police searched the area on the tip of Kopps Road there, behind the Spar Supermarket.

We had all seen the car on Kopps Road about 1.5 lkms further along, around the area where you see Iowa Crt on the map.

Old cars were often parked there with "for Sale" signs on the back window. This one stood out because it looked almost brand new, had no For Sale sign, and its wheels were over the line so you had to swerve around it as you drove past. I didn't notice any stickers or Rego number, only wondered why someone had parked in such a dangerous place. Kopps Road has only one lane in either direction.

Remember, at that time we had no idea a black 4wd was related to Novy Chardon. We later heard it on the news, thought "Oh, THAT car', and then contacted police when we saw them searching in the wrong place.

The green area on the map behind the Spar Supermarket is all mown grass, like an open park. Police were just a little further up Kopps Road in the area where the house numbers read 12-22 on that map. In fact, they were looking over the back fences of those neighbours homes with their search dogs on leads beside them.

The area below the roundabout, between Kopps Road and Entertainment Drive is a fenced sub station, gravelled. Very open clear area. There has been lots of development there over the past year, new pipes being laid, lots of earthworks going on. If anything had of been located during the development we would have heard about it on the news.

Just clutching at straws here but I wonder if this search had anything to do with Novy. It is also in Mt Nathan, probably close to the house that housed the ute in the ground. It also states that they were searching this property on other matters and came across this.

I think this is related to the things found near Mt Nathan. Maybe its all part of the web of evil.

Is that concrete dumped in that little creek?? That's weird.
iPad can't zoom in.

That does indeed look like concrete TGY and it IS very close to Iowa Court - good observation. Google image date is quoted as January 2010 though :(

@Sooki: Thank you for providing us with a detailed location! I went for a drive on Kopps road late last year just to see what the area is like. I think it's easy to believe the area near the transformer station could be of interest but it really puzzles me if they didn't go through all the bush land between Movie World and Kopps Road, actually all the way from the roundabout near M1 to Saltwater Boulevard. As you mentioned there is thick vegetation, small creeks, humid soil (easy to bury something in) and lots of wildlife.

Was it at night time you saw the car?
Or at daytime over several days?

It's believed Novy arrived home at around 10.30pm to 11pm on Wednesday, February 6, 2013.
The police believe the car was dumped at Bowden Court, Nerang already 3-4 hours later at around 2am on Thursday, February 7, 2013.
They believe it was moved again for a 6 minute drive on Thursday night. "We belive the vehicle was collected, driven away and returned about six minutes later and parked on the opposite side of the road."

The drive from Kopps Road, Oxenford to Bowden Court, Nerang would have taken approximately 12 minutes.

Is it possible the "black late model 4wd" could have been a Toyota Landcruiser like this?:

Could have been. I do not remember the make or model.

Yes. On street view, turn around 180 degrees then move forward one click. Where the concrete is in the creekbed, but on the other side of the road. See the white van captured on the satellite photo? Beside it, and just before the yellow road sign, in fact it was exactly where those tyre tracks are.
