Australia - Remains of missing 5 mnth old found, mum charged, Geraldton, July 2015

37-year-old Tamara Louise Thompson of Geraldton, Western Australia, has been arrested and charged with murder after the remains of her missing five-month-old baby girl were found at her Pinyali Way home Monday.

The alarm was raised last weekend after police received a report that the baby had not been seen for weeks.

The home is in the 'burb of Waggrakine. Thompson appeared in court Tuesday and is due for another appearance next week.

Did anyone see a missing alert go out for this baby at all, before her remains were found? I never saw a thing.

I'm guessing that for an alert to public, a parent would have to have reported their child missing. Clearly not the case with this little one

A Geraldton mother accused of murdering her five-month old baby has made a plea offer to the prosecution.

The particulars of the plea offer haven't been released to the public, and the prosecution are considering the offer. Next court date February 24th, 2016.
