As callous as this may sound I don't particularly care that he is now, in DD's opinion, a vulnerable prisoner in custody! GL should have given that some thought before he murdered Carol Clay and IMO Russell Hill. Then in such a heinous manner, he disposed of their bodies and left Carol and Russell's families living a nightmare agonising over what had become of them. Families and loved ones of these two Senior Citizens will continue to be haunted for the rest of their lives.

I don't think she means it disrespectfully to Russell, Carol and families. She is just publicising her latest book. I believe it would take her 3 years as she leaves no stone unturned in her research. She is a journalist and naturally somewhat detached from the situation.

Destroying the crime scene should be a mandatory 10 year sentence not a slap on the wrist. It shows intent to hide the crime.

He suggests that in the pre-sentencing hearing last month that the defence were caught in a corner, as they could not show that Lynn is remorseful - he denies the murder(s).

If Lynn gets a "life" sentence (which is a max of 25 years) he will be 79 when released.

The mathematical probability of Carol being shot in the head - and killed instantly - by an errant bullet ricocheting off a side mirror during a struggle is in the billions. A bit like a bolt of lightning hitting a needle held by a left handed leprechaun.

The judge will be guided by the doctrine of general deterrence .... the desire to deter others going down the same path.
With a severe loading for the deliberate, methodical, self-serving cover up.

Greg Lynn is about to face the music, and he won’t like the tune

Not one character witness took the stand for the High Country killer, who will be sentenced on Friday.
