Sounds like Dyball is a nut.

I am wondering as these guys friends of Sam's who turned on him, or just business associates as such.

I'm reading quietly, basically stunned, sleuthing comments on FB news feeds and reflecting. Just wanted to add that steroids have been mentioned in a few of the comments, which I don't find surprising.

One thing these guys need to do is give up the location of Sam's remains. It can help ease the severity of any jail sentence they receive, and I hope that their parents are encouraging them in this regard.
They are very young men, they can still redeem themselves and have a life after prison. One where they may be able to make some societal amends for their crime(s).

Sam's family need to be able to grieve their son with the accepted ceremonial rites. And to have a place to visit with Sam and remember him and honour his short life.

I see that Dyball is from Albany Creek. Where there is a large conservation (Bunyaville) park nearby. As well as the waters of the areas they travelled on the day of, and after, Sam disappeared.

There is also a picture here of police searching through the muck and mire of the landfill. These searches do not need to go on. Give it up fellas.

Makes me wonder now if police initially kept RB's name somewhat quiet, as they were poising themselves to make their 2nd arrest for this murder.
They must have known the driver of the car was not RB ... as it sounds as if the car may belong to Dyball (?) And they did not want Dyball fleeing or taking his own life or going into hiding. It certainly sounds as if he has mental issues, according to the comments all over FB.

I truly hope that RB's girlfriend is assisting police all the way. Of anyone, I think she may be privy to what happened. Particularly if Sam's murder occurred during a visit to their Bald Hills residence.

We now have two dates for further court appearances.

Dyball appeared in court this morning, and his next appearance is scheduled for May 15th.
(Seems that Dyball is a former professional power lifter ... poor Sam )

Hi all - this development does not surprise me - -a friend of mine taught Rob Boscai at school and said he wouldn't bruise a grape - perfectly behaved, respectful and so on - basically incapable of committing a murder - the new guy on the other hand - military so no problem with killing - indifferent to human life.

A local (read back in the thread) said that Boscaino's behaviour had been escalating of late, due to overuse of ice and cocaine. So I think his aggression levels may have changed since school. Seeing that use of ice can give people the power of superman .. as evidenced by emergency room staff and police. Such a tragic shame for him that he got himself involved in Class A drugs, using and dealing, and that entire shady side.

Still, I agree that Dyball may have inbuilt aggressions, and a propensity toward strength (powerbuilding) and fighting (army, Syria).

That's true - my experience is as a rule leopards don't change their spots - but drugs can change that. My guess is RB lured Sam to his home on false pretences and the hard word was put on him and it escalated from there - my money is on army-boy actually doing the killing - RB procuring him out there perhaps? And certainly helping with disposal - all very messed up and some big errors of judgement by the victim who was obviously up to no good in terms of ruining many other young lives (drugs) IMO

Wow, this latest arrest is crazy. I remember seeing the 60 Minutes story following his parents to Syria, with them desperate to get him home. So sad to hear their were multiple people involved in his death.

I'm in Northern NSW and we've just had massive flooding over the last couple of days - our power and phone lines went down, plus no mobile coverage, thus I couldn't follow the thread. Big changes in the case really quickly. SO glad they're onto it.

Compare the footage of home invasion when sams car was stolen and pictures of mitchell scotts hands look closely he has very distinctive shape with long fingers and the way he positions/holds his hands. No gloves rb had gloves on fyi rb is quite fat now

Doesn't surprise me in the least ... I believe that home invasion was a threat to Sam that he'd better pay up what he owed.

It is not usual for a simple robbery to be a home invasion ... simple robberies seem to be B&Es where the resident is away from the home or sleeping. This one seemed very confrontational.

I'm not at all caught up on this, or on the people arrested but I'll hop on here to say don't assume someone goes overseas to fight in that sort of circumstance is in any way "ethical" or heroic. Very often it's nothing to do with "the cause" and everything to do with being extremely troubled.

Exactly. The killer inside projects to the killer on the outside. The war within also projects to the war on the outside. This is what people that want to kill are, their actions, IMO.

Its been mentioned that Sam reporting the robbery to the police angered the perps. I would imagine that having the police looking into this would have put their drug dealings at risk. This and owing money would be motive alone for unhinged people to commit such a crime.

Yes that's true, but then Sam didn't really know who robbed him either i guess. But it doesn't matter anymore now. If those two that are charged with murder are guilty, their days of drug dealing are over anyway. They might not even be safe in jail if others are involved in the drug stuff, because they will also be very paranoid that the two accused might snitch on the whole operation to get lighter sentences. That's the problem with that seedy lifestyle i guess.

I'm not sure if that's necessarily true. There's a huge drug trade inside prison. But that's a whole other topic......:scared:
