LOL, Nobody really knows do they? Just because ST had some things of value did the other two as well? I don't recall their flashing around expensive cars or watches and trips overseas?
That big white Chrysler wasn't cheap.

I VERY much agree with your prescription drug and alcohol comments. Two of the absolute most abused things in the western world, without a doubt.

They're not single handedly destroying a Country. If you only knew what ICE is doing to Australia. One of the worst effected countries in the world. If we don't get a handle on it soon, who knows what will happen. This is why all symphathy needs to be set aside and a serious approach needs to be addopted. Australians are too soft and this will be our downfall.

Yes probably not. You don't see many of them here in Aus. either. Well not where i am currently anyway. But the young guys around here love their hotted up vehicles. Lots of vintage car shows too.

I have heard Ice is really bad here. I have no idea why people would even want to try the crap? My youngest boy also tells me that he knows guys he works with that take Pingers, and can't remember now what he said it actually is, some kind of pill i believe. And tells me he wouldn't be stupid enough to take them because they can have very bad adverse effects. He educates me, :)

Apparently police are searching Redcliffe waterways for 'missing objects' ? Anyone heard about this on the news?

This is a bit of a crazy idea, and I'm not sure how the arrested 2 would fit in but what if Sam was an escort ? Would explain the fancy clothing and goods etc. Needing to look his best when 'working' and also earning what I imagine could be good money. Maybe that's why his parents don't seem concerned about the flaunting of money. They'd rather that, then him getting the money from drugs ......

It is definitely not uncommon for drug types to prostitute themselves to raise money, especially those desperate for drugs IMO - so a possibility

I think you guys are all to sympathetic, IMO if what turns out to be a death because of dealing in ICE, these 3 could have potentially destroyed hundreds if not thousands of more lives that hav been effected here.

One reason ICE is so rampant through the community is that society makes excuses and is so lienient on those who participate in the distribution. IMO there is no difference between someone providing a bag of ICE to someone than giving a bullet to ones head, it'sjust one will kill you a little slower and destroy more of the society surrounding.

What type of world are we living in where the alleged drug dealers should get funding for the outcome. I think im living in the twilight zone.

Next well be funding bikies, the cartel, maybe the mafia. Wake up peeps.

Some might see this as harsh, but a harsh stance is whats needed with drugs.

Agreed, but his mother wasn't dealing drugs, my sympathy lies with her and the family

Yes, I hear you about the ice scourge. Believe me. There are not too many people that I know who are not aware of what is going on with this widespread and devastating drug.
I will agree to disagree with you about parents burying their son though. :)

I agree - if - and it's a big IF - ST turns out to have been a peddler of drugs, it would be inappropriate for his family to receive a cash windfall - drugs DO destroy lives - we can't forget how many families are destroyed - also as a side-note my Uncle had to bury his 28 year old daughter (mother of 2) who passed due to cancer - he didn't receive a cash bonus - I feel sympathy for ST's parents too but enough with the money already - I fear it's what got the lad into so much trouble.

People can raise money for their friends or family if they want to

Suggestion that ST overdosed earlier?? Possible - wonder if Defence will suggest it as a "reasonable alternative" to murder. RB and AD had better have stories that match however

Haha can and should are two separate things - of course they can - but let's just wait for the full story to come out. His parents might still be able to sell the $300 hat and $3000 handbag and $80000 car.

Yes. There are so many reasons why people are doing just that on the crowd funding sites. It is a real education looking at some of the reasons. haha
And I am sure many of those reasons would not be approved of by one person or another.
Parents raising money to bury their murdered son in a nice manner, pay for his headstone, does not seem like one of the 'inappropriate' reasons for a crowd funding appeal, to me.

Those items were stolen in the robbery as far as I can remember seeing.

Doesnt matter if you or i or anyone else agrees its a free country and they can raise for anything they desire its just our choice whether we donate to appeals. No news yet of the confirmation of the id remains wonder why theu r taking so long to release to media?

Exactly. People do not need to donate if they do not wish to. The appeal for the daughter of murdered Karen Ristevski has been up for a long time, and it had not gone past $800 the last time I looked. (The daughter stopped cooperating with police a long time ago, and that has many people's backs up.)

I am surprised that media are not announcing results yet. May be something to do with the time scale given by police? Maybe they want to search some more in peace and quiet, without MSM all over the subject? As per lariski22's post about waterways in Redcliffe possibly being searched.
