Ah yes, good point. I forgot about the floor sander!

Maybe they took his body inside so there was more privacy and he bled all over the floorboards. From memory, the pics showed wooden decks at the house as you go in.

The house is very private. I have never noticed anything happening there. Just cars parked out the front.

The carport is behind a high fence that goes right around the house. There was never a car parked in the carport. The carport was full of junk/ fitness equipment etc.

No locals I have spoken to heard or noticed anything unusual.

Yes. Not surprised they used the dogs in the forest. It's quite expansive and very generic looking, so unless they had a precise location, you'd imagine the dogs were necessary.

I wondered more about RB's house. I was unaware but was told even if no fluids are spilled, an excellent dog can indicate on scent on say soft furnishings the body expelled gas on to (as this occurs rapidly before outward signs of decomposition).

In truth I was surprised the dogs only found one body. A few people have sadly ended up in those forests :(

As for the remains not being intact, I wonder if this is possibly due to animals if ST was only partially or shallowly buried?

It is a vast area to search so I'm wondering if there are cell towers that they could pinpoint a rough area of where they thought the body would be and the dogs didn't have to look very far? The training those dogs have must be amazing!

I've wondered similar. It seems hastily covered up so perhaps not a lot of planning. That's one of the reasons I've wondered if AD was an after the event situation. Because surely a man who disarms IEDs and removes landmines and avoids being shot has a cool head in crisis/escalating situations and has planning skills? JMO.

We are also talking about a guy who has rumoured to have told people about RB's Bunnings purchases.

But why would he be charged with murder, if he was not a participant? I think it would just have been an interfering with a corpse charge if he showed up later for the clean up.

Some people might argue because they finally wanted to charge him with something after his time in Syria? Not my opinion, just saying.

Or hoping he will provide evidence that sures up the case on RB in case they don't get a COD and have to consider manslaughter?

If GBC case showed anything it's that he should have argued accidental death and hasty disposal from the outset.

I am not violating Tricia's wishes FYI, and i am not being argumentative. I posted a link to an article and this was the retort:
SBM
I do feel as though you've taken some sort of exception to me. I could add a lot more on the ST topic but frankly one of the reasons I don't is your somewhat rude response to every little thing I say that doesn't fit your personal narrative.

All for posting a linked msm article, really?
I think some of you need get things into perspective don't you?

Hey Karinna I'm the Thompson's closefamily friends who's posted before. You are correct he was assaulted in that home invation I no for fact. Love what you write here. Don't let them get you down :P

Could there be a link between the sawn-off shotgun in AD's possession and what looks like the same type of weapon used in Sept. home invasion (does that look like a sawn off shotgun in the video)

I think he may have been talking about the weapons he had in Syria? I think he's got an AR15 in a few. He was deported from Germany and I'm not sure he'd have been able to transport weapons back in those circumstances.
Agree it does look like a sawn off in the video.

Ok so I am just babbling out loud but what annoys me is if AD or RB had prior convictions they cannot be brought into the trial to sway the jury etc but what say he has PTSD? That can be allowed which irks me.

I think it is the AFP who wanted Dyball for Syria. As opposed to the Qld police. And I don't think Qld police would charge him with anything that wouldn't stand up in court. I don't believe a prosecutor would allow that. It would be highly unusual imo, and I have never seen anything like that in all the cases we have followed here.

I'm struck by the height of one of the home invasion perps as was posted earlier on the thread....it said 160 cm....that's VERY short for a guy. How tall was RB, does anyone know?

160 is very petite. For a man. My understanding is RB is slim build but not ultra short.

Hi there, Thankyou very much for confirming that, :) And thanks for your kind words <3
How is Sam's little doggie doing if you know? Is that the little black and white dog in the photo in msm of Sam in the car with that cute little dog? And i think there was another one in the car as well. I have a little mini foxie, and they are a joy.
And i won't let anyone get me down, i am very tenacious, lol. I have been through so much worse.

BBM

Thanks for confirming that. I have read that in many places. Even if they pushed Sam backwards to keep him away, that is assault.

They are incredible dogs! I'm told very skilled ones can detect single bones of upwards of 20 years old even when concealed. Incredible!

The way the forestry is set out (I think that's the chunk off Pumicestone, I am around the Donnybrook Rd chunk a bit) you could probably walk in a short distance from each access point and search. If the phone information gave them the road to turn off it's just a process of elimination I guess, hoping the dogs find something.

That is very short for a male. I am 158cm tall as a female and that's short.

Truly amazing! Are they a specific breed?

QPS uses a few different ones I think. A spaniel, a lab and a shepherd.

Police did state about the evidence in RB's house, so they did get evidence although they only specified about the acid & tomahawk. But they had enough to charge with murder, so don't know what all else they got?
Does anyone know if RB & AD's vehicles are impounded as police evidence, seeing as they would of transported ST to the place he was found?

May have been transported in his own car? Though at 6 feet it'd be a squeeze?

Truly astounded at their brilliance. I knew dogs were awesome but that just blows my mind.
