Hi Everyone,

I have lost count at the posts I had to remove that were off topic.

Let's make this very easy: Don't be a jerk, don't be rude, stay on topic and you will not have any problems.

Please no more off topic posts and return to the topic of the thread which is Samuel Thompson.

Thank you,
Tricia

Just catching up now.

Nickers you are a gem. Great insight.

Glad to see Sam has been identified, and the family can have some degree of closure.

I have search SM with every variation of RB I can imagine, and nothing. I am wondering if he deleted his account recently. Sam had over 1000 friends on SM and not one of them were AD or RB.

An aquintance on here mentioned earlier sam had rob or dyball following him on instgram. Maybe they stopped using FB as other platforms emerge.

Possible motive for Sam's death ???

On 26/7/2016 Sam posted on his FB page that the purchase of the Orange Ford Mustang was only 2 weeks away...making it 9/8/2016...

He was driving a dark blue 2014 Subaru BRZ Special Edition up until he took possession of the Ford Mustang and said on his FB page that he was sad to see the Subaru go...

So... he took possession of the Mustang in August 2016...only one month prior to the first robbery in September 2016...when the Mustang and designer goods were stolen...

Do we know yet if the 2 robberies are connected and if both AD and RB were involved in the first robbery, one month after the purchase of the Mustang?

Maybe...AD and RB became jealous about Sam flaunting his wealth and designer goods, living in an up-market Albion unit paying $500 per week rent...and not paying off his debts?

I could see this as a possible motive..MOO..

BBM

I think angry, frustrated, vengeful may be more the case. More than jealous. imo

Trying hard to get their money. They may have been having pressure from above them to pay money that they did not have, due to money not being paid to them.

My question is who out of the two, RB & ST were drug dealers, or were they both doing that? if that is proven as a fact?
I'm omitting AD because ST didn't know him, but looks like RB did. If RB did lure him to get him murdered, that would prove intent and premeditation. Because thats what happened after Sam went to that bald hills house and police say he never left there alive.

Who was driving the white car and following ST? Was it RB & AD both?

Think st was already passed when that was captured

Yes, which would mean that Boscaino and Dyball were likely the drivers. Is it possible that Boscaino was the driver of Sam's car, which is why the police arrested him first? CCTV ID and possible DNA or fingerprints found in the car matching Boscaino? If he drove Sam's car from outside his place, CCTV from the pub across the street could very well have picked him up getting into the driver's seat.

Dyball arrested later as they pinned down the owner of the white car, and matched his phone pings - and possibly ID via an open car window caught on highway CCTV - to the route(s) that they drove that day, and the following day.

I remember this quote from a previous thread - I interpreted it as Sam's sister was trading sexual favours for ice - just a rumour anyway - Chinese whispers!!!

I interpreted that it was Sam's sister as well...I hope it isn't true.

I am not understanding why there are no comments about Boscaino. What is that about?

Usually people say a lot on SM about their knowledge of the perpetrators. I wonder why they are not speaking about Boscaino.

He lives in a relatively small town. People must know him, know about him, see him, talk to him ..... (perhaps have gardening or home improvements done by him).
Just thought I'd add that Biscaino doesn't live in a small town. He lives in Brisbane. Bald Hills is a suburb of Brisbane.

I don't think anything has been proven as fact yet Karinna - all just hearsay and rumour - it has been deduced that Sam was dealing drugs due to his acquisition of luxury items without a regular well-paying job. He also alludes to drug deals on his FB page. We don't know anything about RB atm really - people also are aware that dug dealers are often "bumped" due to bad debts

My question is who out of the two, RB & ST were drug dealers, or were they both doing that? if that is proven as a fact?

Just thinking more on Sam's employment status...We don't know how long he had been unemployed at the time of his disappearance...I noticed on Sam's dads Facebook page that he is employed by Mrs Thompson (his wife and Sam's mum)...

Does the family have their own business and was Sam employed by his parents in whatever type of business that may be?
AD is employed by his parents as they run an Australia Post outlet in Brisbane area as a family business, employing their other son as well as AD?

Thanks! Incorrect terminology on my part, and I wasn't sure. So I appreciate that.

I guess I had taken on board the previous comment that said Boscaino and Dyball lived in a relatively small area, and the kids all knew each other around there. So when I looked I saw that Bald Hills was at the northern-most tip of Brisbane, with a lot of forest etc in the surrounds, and a population of around 6,000.

I took that as a joke, I believe he is retired as he worked where I did for many years. Also I think if there was a family business the police would have described him as working for the family and not a childcare worker

I think that could be a strong possibilty.

SouthAussie...The forest at the northern-most tip of Brisbane is the Beerburrum State Forest where Sam's body was found in the shallow grave...
The State Forest goes for miles when travelling from there along the Bruce Highway to the Sunshine Coast...so really AD and BR didn't have very far to travel to dispose of Sam's body.

Your right lots of people know each other in Brisbane. Here we divide ourselves between northsiders and southsiders (bris river in middle). All three are northsiders.

That explains why he said he was employed by Mrs. Thompson then...He doesn't seem old enough though to be retired..:blushing:
I just thought that if there was a family business, Sam may have helped out there when not working in childminding.

Here is where ST remains found. An easy 30 mins from Boscianos house. The road is actually very busy during the day with housing estates and shops on both ends. IMG_5883.jpgIMG_5881.jpgIMG_5879.jpgIMG_5882.jpg
