Some sleuthers wondered whether the Bunnings purchases were actually to replace tools that were used in the murder....that were then disposed of with the body.

Yes, the carpet they purchased, too ... replacement for one used and disposed of.
Perhaps cut up and disposed of in bins that went to a landfill?

Here is another pic of a ute in front of the house, from April of last year. There are many pics of a ute in front of the house, as well as the white car, from many dates in 2016/2017 ... but most of them are too blurry for an image to be posted here.

I thought a local came on here and said they had the Lutwychye Post Office franchise. Apologies if I am wrong.

Thats Right. You are right there they do/did own The PO there. I'm sure it's his folks though that have the gluten free shop? His Mum is often at a gluten free market stall if she's the lady I think and just about the loveliest lady you'd meet.

I'm pretty sure they all had vehicles. Though one perhaps not quite as spanky as the hot rods. (See Cupcake's post below)

I also captured a vision on Google Earth (posted further back in the threads) of a work ute parked right in front of the house. In their usual parking place. The image was from 2017.

Which is why I am thinking a carpet-wrapped Sam may have been fairly easily transported to what we think was his first resting place, the forest. With possibly a variety of gardening-type tools, close at hand, to assist in preparing and completing the shallow grave.

Agree re ease of transport in a ute. Also can be hosed/cleaned lots easier than an upholstered seat or carpeted boot.

AD's car wasn't that flash. It's a 2000 model and he had it before he went abroad.

Yes i saw that. How strange that you can do horrible things to someone and then carry on in life normally???!!! Posting on fb about anti terrorism wtf.

Yes. Some people in life do seem to be extremely pragmatic and have insane compartmentalization skills.

Thank you so much for confirming Marples.
My point was that you can bank cash at post offices, pretty handy pozzie for cash laundering. Do I need to spell it out more?

I have no doubt that she is lovely. Hope she has lots of support.

I don't want to commence a dialog about this again .. as there are too many opposing personal opinions that others find upsetting.
(So please, let's not start it again, peeps. :) )

But I just want to say that I came across an article that states that the cases against several young Aussies (including Dyball) who fought for the YPG are under review and defence due to a point in Aussie law. That is, that there is no law against joining foreign government military groups.
The YPG may be considered a foreign government military group, and the facts and proof of that are being established, thereby releasing these Aussie fighters from any recrimination in our courts.

I thought you may be interested in this, is all. As I was. And others may be. :)

Yes. I believe this is the exact defense one of the other lads mounted after being charged and those charges were dropped.

He gave the example that it's allowable to go to Israel and fight (and many Aussies do the year of compulsory service they'd have been expected to do in Israel) and that as we provide funding to the arm of the overseas military he fought with it was not classed as a foreign combatant situation.

Agreed. How many days & nights were Sam's loved ones left in anguish, not knowing his whereabouts? Meanwhile, this 🤬🤬🤬 is Facebook'ing as they suffer in a way I can't bring myself to imagine. Unbelievable.

See I can see how this would happen and maybe the person would not bat an eye. Suffering is very subjective and it's all a matter of relativity.

Some people might look at that situation and say that ST's family, likely aware of his dealings in things that end badly, being sad at not knowing where he is, is not comparable to people completely innocent enduring suffering. Not my opinion, but I can see the logic. If I had seen war orphaned children's feet blown off playing soccer, a dead alleged drug dealers parents who I'd think probably knew what he was into crying on TV might not make me feel much?

FWIW I think it's terribly sad for ST's family and their media appearances were harrowing. The Mum face while she just nods, like she just cannot believe this is even happening to them [emoji17]

As for not saying where ST was, I realise that brings a lot of suffering to the family. The not knowing someone is dead, even where you really have a strong feeling they're gone, is tough. The not knowing where they are is awful. But from a criminals perspective, the longer a body is gone, the less chance there is of evidence being on it that leads to them. Same with dismemberment, it's often for convenience of transport/disposal not anything else. Both awful things? Yes, but sadly practical, which is what I suppose people consider in these situations [emoji853]

Strange thing is that it seems that he had the means to pay his debts from what we are hearing,

Unencumbered swanky car: you'd think it'd give you some breathing room even if it didn't pay it all, no?

I thought Sam actually looked healthy in his Contki photos on FB, but less healthy in more recent family photos in the video on the 🤬🤬🤬 site, but it is a matter of personal perception.

I thought that too. Could be from using. Could also be from anxiety if he knew he was in deep poo. Stress can age and skinny people up in a short time.

And I think up further someone said he wouldn't put up much of a fight, I'd agree. Especially if he wasn't expecting it. I mean unless he's channeling Al Pacino in Donnie Brasco where he puts on his velour trackie and waits for the end, who wears thongs out, acting/looking casual to a meeting where you fear you may die? The element of surprise and a person skilled in chokeholds and you're out in 30 seconds without much of a fight and when you come to you are in a mess of trouble [emoji17]

Just facepalming at the thought of torture and a painful death, Marples

Okay. Yes, it'd be a terrifying way to go. And devastating to see. The testimony from the fella who saw Tia Landers tortured was just heart breaking.

I'm struck by the height of one of the home invasion perps as was posted earlier on the thread....it said 160 cm....that's VERY short for a guy. How tall was RB, does anyone know?

Ashley is not tall. I'm 172cm and he was shorter than me, I guess 160cm may have just been an estimate. Have any of you watched any videos on google of how Ashley stands/walks in comparison to the robbery CCTV?

Agree re easy way to move cash. Another great way to mosey around different places and dealing mostly in cash is a mowing business so maybe RB had his own way of cleaning his cash, too?

I have to say I would not imagine the D family to be in on it and if AD was using The PO to do it, how easy would that be when you aren't the only person there?

Too many interesting options and theories.

It is crazy that there is nothing out there about Boscaino.

We have a sense of Dyball and his upbringing. A good family, parents that went to Syria to try to find him and bring him home (https://www.9now.com.au/60-minutes/...9zhgs5sj/170f121a-1fca-4a02-ab4f-66f7a228787d), benchpress champ (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ches-aspiring-weightlifters-say-lift-bro.html), other SM comments about how he was 'naughty' at school ...

We have a sense of Sam and his upbringing. A good family, concerts with dad, happy family photos, loving his dog, former state representative ice hockey player .....

But Boscaino? He was quiet in school, he may have a gardening franchise, his uncle may have a gardening business ....

Is the Boscaino family connected somehow? Nobody is talking. Are there connections via politics? high society? criminal world? law enforcement? .... what is it? Because I am pretty sure that it is not due to connections through Gardening Australia. :tantrum:

Yes agree re the estimate part. AD is not a tall guy but I think 160 is still way low. The shorter one in the video I felt moved quite femininely? Feminine isn't really what springs to mind when I think of powerlifting militias but hey things change who knows. I know the news reports said two men but I've wondered could the shorter one be a female? Another local did comment on the way the bag is slung, like AD used to wear his pack in photos of his time in Syria. I guess it surprised me the short one doesn't seem to be gloved and touches the bannister a lot. Maybe can account for their prints being there in other ways (like visits regularly etc) so not worried about gloves? Just found it odd as the other one was gloved?

I just snorted my coffee at the Gardening Australia statement. Yeah look, IMO, being that low profile in today's world doesn't happen by accident, only by design and with considerable effort.

Trawl SM as hard as everyone has and what do we see I think someone said a private Insta and a SoundCloud playlist. Not much of a digital footprint for such a young fella?

His extended family use SM but not his immediate it seems. Maybe the family business isn't gardening at all?

I thought they moved and stood like a woman too.

160 cm is really small for a man. I'm 163 cm and I've never met a man smaller than me.....(except for really old Italian guys in my family......but they've been in their 90's....whole different scenario)
