The video is a good watch, that's for sure.

The Inspector clearly says that the Mustang was at DWB reserve for about 24 hours.

He also says that the Mustang - followed by the white car - were seen driving away from DWB later on an afternoon. He states that was on Tuesday, but he was getting things a bit mixed up here and there (and kept having to check with someone off-screen) ... so we were wondering if the two cars were actually seen on CCTV leaving DWB on the Wednesday afternoon and then headed straight to Wooyung. Especially as he stated that the Mustang was at DWB for 24 hours.

Slinky, can you tell us if the limo company where the CCTV is located is on the road that would be taken to NSW?

I find myself wondering if the Mustang actually travelled alone to NSW and there was a friend contacted in the area that could drop the driver back, rather than the obviousness of the Chrysler tailing the Mustang all the way down there. I doubt I will ever get an answer to that. But if they went to all the trouble of taking back streets to Caboolture in either the Chrysler or RB's truck, they were taking some care in avoiding detection.

Do we know that they took back roads to Caboolture? I wasn't aware of that. Not doubting you for a minute. Just don't recall any facts along those lines.

When the Inspector said they had reams and reams of CCTV to go through, and they were even using police recruits to help, I thought that maybe they just hadn't fully reviewed all of the CCTV before they were given the tip/ping data leading them to Caboolture.

It has been suggested. It would be quicker using tunnels and toll roads according to our lovely local, but we just don't know if anything was caught on surveillance.

Can someone tell me where AD lived please, if it's not an inconvenience? I don't remember seeing it mentioned but I probably missed it--and like Karinna, I don't Facebook. Whitepages has an A Dyball at Caboolture; would that be him?

His car was seized at Albany Creek. Don't know if that is his home address though. Google says that Albany Creek is even further away from Caboolture than Bald Hills is. But by then he may have stashed his car somewhere, hey? He knew it was being looked for.

.... at a property in Albany Creek, where the white vehicle was seized.

I believe that was my opinion as the highway has too many camera. This is by no means truth. It is just a guess that they may have taken back streets to avoid detection

Thank you SA, Possumheart, Seek. I was thinking about the times. Nundah to either Bald Hills or Albany Creek is about 20 minutes so if Sam was going to either house, or to DWB, he would have got there 11-ish, leaving 2 hours before his car was allegedly seen at DWB and reportedly stayed there for 24 hours, though there seems room for doubt as to whether it might have left again and returned. Enough time for a murder and placement of the Mustang, not enough for a murder and burial at Caboolture and return to DWB in my opinion.

The way MSM words it in various articles makes it sound like he himself does reside in Albany Creek:

Police have confirmed a 25-year-old Albany Creek man was taken into custody on Friday night and charged with murder and interfering with a corpse.

Ashley Dyball, 25, of Albany Creek, was on Friday night charged with Mr Thompson’s murder and with interfering with a corpse.

I'm not convinced they took a back way to anywhere. Just due to the fact that they have done everything in the most stupid and obvious fashion, and been arrested quicker than quick.

Unless a back way was quicker/easier somehow, from wherever they were at the time (presumably Boscaino's place).

We definitely are not speaking of intelligent people here.

Hey [emoji4] it's on the side road that goes into DWB. You have to drive out of the area to get out to the highway. They really drove themselves into a dead end literally and figuratively and physically!!

PS. That's why I questioned the press conference after watching several times..... very odd.

There are traffic monitoring cameras on the highway to Caboolture (I'm in Caboolture right now having driven on the highway) [emoji1]
The area sam was found is accessible by side road and fire trail. Initial access via the highway I think (will have to check).......

We had a younger local guy from my area who took off to fight too. I followed that a bit, but they got him back safely and it wasn't sensationalised. Seems he integrated back very well. A happy story, but as I have mentioned, the mental health people around here treat returned SAS and are very skilled. I'm sure they shut down the publicity as quickly as possible for all the right reasons.

I grew up in Albany creek - as bald hills is just off the highway, it seems closer but not really. They are both similar travel by car.

The Clem7 if they took it - if they have a tag would register (easily tracked) if not again easily tracked as the cameras take a photo of every number plate.....

Very good point. My only indication that they may have taken the back road was some of the cameras along this road stores number plates, so if they key that numberplate into the system they would have been able to see if and when that car went past which camera. But in saying that. That may be why they found the burial so close after find the white car maybe. I dont really know was just a thought but now I think u may be right. They really wernt smart at all.

Have they opened the area again to see exactly where he was found? Or has his exact location not been announced (that area is quite large)

I didn't think Clem7 went anywhere near as north as Caboolture?
