I guess alot may come down to VLAD. They could deny any association or wrong doing perhaps if they are patched in. Then there are the "nike bikies" who never ride bikes... old school is gone imho.

Haha, love it "nike bikies" too funny. Yes you're right old school is gone sadly.

Well, if bikies are involved, which I think seems unlikely, they will be really thrilled at the big botched mess Boscaino and Dyball made of all this!

I remember when that SA girl went (willingly) missing for a while - Rachael Moritz - the young guy she took off with apparently worked with the Hells Angels, was a bit of a cage fighter, did some of their rough work, burned cars. Part of the initiation before becoming a fully fledged member.

Yep, they sure did didn't they. Nothing like bringing a bit of heat down by murdering some poor guy. Horrible.

Oh, I thought it was someone saying RB fell through a roof? Happy to be wrong :)

Ohhhhhh Yeah that's what I'm referring to. He may well have. But I also found an article where AD's mother says he was in a serious car accident.
I'm so confused at this time of night - I get addicted to google [emoji23]

I think people were saying there was no AD presence on the net, but I was reading about his time o/s and he said he referred to himself as Scott Mitchell. He is on Facebook, but the content is mainly what he was doing o/s.

There is plenty on the net about Ashleys tour in Kurdistan and when he returned under his alias Mitchell Scott which are 2 of his middle names

It is Boscaino that has little presence on the internet. Lots of stuff out there about Dyball.

RIP Samuel Thompson. You were too young to die. Way before you could even understand life. :rose:

BBM, you are right on with that. I think peeps in general are much more aggressive these days. Don't know what it is though? People used to be so friendly, and now not so much. Poor kids i feel sorry for them growing up in todays world.
People are much more aggressive. Alot to do with what we do to our bodies,i.e. diet, alcohol, drugs etc. We are also a very time poor society and everything must be done yesterday. Which is why I moved west. I hated the person I was becoming. I dread to think what is in store for my grandkids.

Thanks for finding that info, Slinky. That's interesting.

Alot of serial killers have a history of head injuries. It often seems to lower their impulse control and heighten their aggression.

Mrs Dyball said she had "no idea" why her middle-born went to Syria to join the fight against Islamic State.

"I haven't even asked him that myself," she said.

"Ashley was a party boy and loved his weights, fitness ... wasn't political at all."

Mrs Dyball said her son had a "very bad car accident" in early 2014.

"He recovered just before he left [for Syria]," she said.

Agree with you statement. My ex had a frontal lobe injury from a serious mva as a late teen. It took nothing to tip him over the edge especially if he had been drinking. Although he never killed anyone.

Yes, exactly!

I was just thinking that with AD's apparent already-existing propensity toward aggression (as stated by various school friends of his on the QLD LE FB page), if damage to the frontal lobes occurred in his car accident it may have lowered his inhibitions against killing.

I notice, too, in the article posted by slinky, that he had previous encounters with police. And had charges dropped. May have led to feelings of infallibility (along with a young person's feelings of invincibility) .... and the utter apparent carelessness with Sam's life, and the botched covering of one's own tail end.

But Dyball’s life was not always on the straight and narrow with Dyball boasting to friends about encounters with police and having to face court.
“Nothing better than having your charges dropped! Celebrations are in order!” he posted outside of Brisbane Magistrates Court on March 27 this year.

Plus, he was obviously incredibly desensitised to death by the time he came home from Syria :

Soon after having his mate, Reece Harding, killed in a landmine explosion Dyball was posting images of atrocities carried out by IS including a photo of dead enemy fighters with the comment: "Personally I find this lineup better then stereosonic (dance festival) and the best part was only one guy had his shirt off."

And we wonder why the govt does not want regular citizens going off to fight in these war zones. :sigh:

They have had none of the continuous mental and physical prep of the armed services. Have not qualified to be psychologically capable of handling the trauma or dealing with it in an appropriate manner. Nor do they have the freely given resources to help them to cope when they return, as our armed services personnel do.
