SouthAussie, when an experienced sleuther raises a topic that has been discussed at length in previous threads and asks others to go back and find those pages for them, do you think that is fair play, when they, as we all do, have the search function at our fingertips? Just an etiquette question.

I think it is fair to think that an experienced sleuther should look for themselves IMO.
Newbies (although I'm rather new but have investigation experience as I think I've proven) should be given a few tips by the more experienced just to get used to the way the thread is working - each thread has different people sometimes and the 'language' and experience levels may change [emoji4]

I'm pretty sure that none of us think either of them are swell guys. They're BOTH accused of murder. It's terrible!!

As we have all explained endless times, there is very little available in MSM about RB. We have discussed him as much as we can on thread within those limits.

And for the record, in the one pic I have seen of RB, he didn't have the same dead, cold eyes. If he did, I would certainly be commenting on it.

JMO.

Ah another good point. Yes the only photo I think I've seen he was in arms with a family member with a drink smiling.......
interesting we have soooooooo much on AD but absolutely nothing on RB.
Do you think - totally MOO - this might reflect just on previous MSM coverage or do you think it might have something to do with each individuals position in the 'hierarchy' of the case?

Is it normal on these threads to have a 'I know the Casanova celebrity accused' phenomena happening? Particularly without verification?
Not 'snarking', just asking.

Not snarking either, but it seems to be about as common as the "I know the victim" phenomena without verification. I've noted a number of people saying they know the three young men involved: none have provided verification as far as I can tell.

Altho I dont agree with drb constantly sticking up for AD. Drb is correct. I'm currently driving so can not find story to attach. AD was flown back to Australia then went straight into custody by the AFP, followed by hours of integration before being realised without his passport.

Yes, I recall reading MSM stories to this effect also. That he had been detained in Germany, charged and given the option to either be returned to Australia or for the charges in Germany to proceed. He was returned, taken for lengthy questioning by the AFP.

Most people look rubbish after a flight that long, even without the couple of extra hours of AFP time. Not saying he's the most boy next door looking chap, but I think photos after a long haul flight aren't necessarily the best representation of what a person looks like on a day to day basis.

He had just been in custody in Germany,flown half way across the world,on a red eye flight from Melbourne and grilled for hours on arrival. I dont think any of us would look amazing.

And IMO when a poster asks for a specific topic in one of the threads that is being re discussed, No, they are not obligated to go and look for it for you, but to ask if they remember where that might be if they remember, because sometimes the threads have had heaps of posts & quite a few page numbers, should still be met with a polite answer. I have often looked back on threads to point a poster in the right direction as to what they're asking, to help them, even though i was under no obligation to do so. But that's just me.

I agree, he has been making bad choices for a while IMO. He went into a warzone with no military training, so i don't know what he expected really?

But drb wasn't quoting, it was more a statement, just like we don't link AD fighting overseas everytime it is spoken about, it was just stated that he wouldn't look good after a long Hall flight and all that

He is copping 'flak' because he is one of the accused murderers of Samuel Thompson, the topic of this thread. It doesn't make him only half a murderer IYKWIM

RB's photo has been posted twice here on the WS threads. It is a screenshot from a Channel 7 news video.

And we have discussed RB at length on the thread also. It's all there if you read back. :seeya:
