Australia Australia - Sandrine Jourdan, 37, Caboolture QLD, 13 July 2012

I have found two informative blog posts by a friend of Sandrine's, who Sandrine had been living with shortly before she disappeared.

"On the evening of Wednesday the 11th of July I had another phone call from Sandrine, she was concerned about the POI, as apparently he had threatened to kill himself. She told me that he wasn’t answering her calls and she asked me to call him, which I did, but there was no answer until the next day, the 12th of July. By the 13th of July, 2012, the day of Sandrine’s disappearance, which is also the day of the POI’s birthday, the POI was very clearly still furious with her, and demanded to know what she had told me. I told him that Sandrine was concerned about him and he proceeded to blame Sandrine for his problems, the last message he wrote to me on the day of Sandrine’s disappearance is this, a direct copy and paste: Facebook User 7/13, 8:34am Facebook User: I am gonna talk to Sandrine now and find out the WHOLE story once and for all."

Part two includes video interviews done by A Current Affair with three persons of interest, and suggests that another person of interest (Sandrine's ex, Ian Cannard) may also have known something or been involved. Sandrine's friend doesn't seem suspicious of the third person of interest, John Boegheim. She discusses why the police have failed so thoroughly to investigate Sandrine's disappearance properly, and suggests a possible motive. I think incompetence or something akin to laziness or nonchalance (because Sandrine was a single mum without much money) probably accounts for it and there isn't a cover up going on, but hey, who knows.

"The Sandrine Jourdan ‘missing person’ case has recently been raised again, not by the police, but by some of Sandrine’s tenacious family members and friends, and with a lot help from the media.

It has been 4 years since Sandrine’s disappearance and there has been a lot of confusion about the circumstances, but more and more information that had been previously given to police as evidence, once ignored and forgotten, is coming out in public eye. The trouble is, not all of it is correct."

Here is a link to the A Current Affair video

While I find some of Borgheim's responses in the interview suspicious - this could well be because it is a painful subject to discuss and he has gone over it many times. When he is asked "can you think of anyone who would want to hurt Sandrine?" and he replies "again, there's different possibilities there, but I can't prove anything" I think that is a genuine response - he seems suspicious of other people, but he is unable to prove it. Cannard, on the other hand, blames her "troubled mind" and Ainsworth shoots his mouth off about how "all of this @#$%! has devastated me." So he seems a lot more concerned about how her disappearance has affected him than about her disappearance itself, to me.

For anyone who is interested, after a curiosity google, I have also had a look at Bradley Ainsworth's youtube account, which you can find here https://www.youtube.com/user/TheMajicmirra/videos . I haven't really watched many of the videos - there are a LOT - but he was posting a lot of videos 6-7 years ago (2010-2011ish) about something called Majic Mirra, seems to just be a video question system to record biographical details but also has weird "fortune telling" clips, something called "Kult - How Close We Came to Extinction", and a bunch of stuff about UFO sightings. Then he posts nothing until 10 months ago, when he starts uploading a lot of his songs. To me, a lot of the song titles are creepy. One album is called "Busking with the Devil." But really nothing on his youtube channel suggests anything other than he is a bit out of the 'ordinary' - having known many people who don't live a typical 9 to 5 life, there doesn't seem to be anything here that is so far out there as to be truly concerning. But I have linked for those who are curious, as I was.

"Brad Ainsworth has no alibi on the day Sandrine went missing.

I spoke personally with the ‘officer’ assigned to Sandrine’s case, Steve Watts. Steve Watts told me, when he came to take a ‘statement’, 94 weeks after Sandrine went missing, that Brad had an alibi and was at his mother’s house the afternoon Sandrine went missing. But, according to Brad’s own words, this is simply not true.

I quote Bradley Ainsworth, and, as previously, have copied this message word for word:

“And I was at Mums all morning the day she went missing, At Dazs place all arvo and at Kilcoy all weekend after.”

Brad is referring to a drum retreat attendee nicknamed ‘Daz’, who at the time lived in Kalangur, just half an hour away from Caboolture where Sandrine went missing, at 5:30pm, that same day.

So what time did Brad leave Daz’s house? Below is a direct quote from Daz himself:

“i do know this… on the 13th of july 2012, the accused [Bradley Ainsworth] was at my house from between about midday until about 4:30-5pm…”

So, as Bradley Ainsworth himself says, he left Daz’s house in the afternoon, and Daz confirms that Brad left at between 4:30-5pm on the day Sandrine went missing. Brad has stated however that after Daz’s house he was at Kilcoy.. but there seems to be a rather large time gap (of more than 6 hours) in Brad’s alibi, because Brad didn’t turn up to Kilcoy for the retreat until five minutes to midnight. The Kilcoy retreat is one hours drive away from where Sandrine went missing.

In short, Bradley Ainsworth was half an hour’s drive away from Sandrine on the day she went missing, had time to drive to meet Sandrine and had no alibi at the time Sandrine went missing at 5:30 pm, the 13th of July, 2012."

Sandrine's family are still searching for her and she is still sorely missed. Sandrine's family want answers to the questions that have gone unanswered for over five years. They have started a 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 to assist them in covering the costs of the investigative work that still needs to be done to help find Sandrine.

The 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 will cover things like travel expenses, equipment, and ground-penetrating radar fees. This investigative work is now a financial burden on the family because, in my opinion, Sandrine's case has never been properly investigated by police.

I cannot even imagine what the torment of not knowing where my loved one was or what had happened to them would be like. Sandrine's family deserve answers, please donate if you can. More details are on the 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 page here:

I still think of Sandrine and her loved ones regularly, and have been meaning to post here for a while to say that Sandrine's family seem to disagree with the opinions expressed in the blog posts (and perhaps in some newspapers after a coronial inquest?) that I linked and quoted in several earlier posts here.

Unfortunately, I cannot actually access much information about the inquest or Sandrine's family's views on the inquest and on Sandrine's friend's opinions, because a lot of the news articles are behind pay walls and because I don't have a facebook account so I have trouble finding or accessing information on the facebook page set up by them for Sandrine.

Is anyone able to access either the facebook, or any of the paid/subscriber only content covering Sandrine's case on news websites or anywhere else? I feel it is very important to provide information here about why the family disagrees with the views I posted about earlier, and important generally to provide as much information about Sandrine's case as possible, but I have had a hard time accessing information to share :(

Still no body but it was ruled a suicide by the coroner. I smell a rat with this one.
I know right. The fact that this was ruled a suicide is absolutely mind boggling to me. With the family doing a search and finding purpley-mauve material and her black dress pants buried on a neighbouring property is highly suspicious! I think the coroner got her qualifications from a cereal box! The more I read about this case the angrier I get. The police investigation was sloppy at best and the POI's not thoroughly investigated in my mind.
I can see why Sandrine's family are angry. They should be. She went missing in 2012, not 1912. The police already had so much technology at their fingertips and it just sounds like it's not been utilised.
10 years later almost and still nothing. It's outrageous! I sincerely hope that Sandrine is one day found and that her family and her children can get some long awaited closure.

A PI and former QPS has just launched his first podcast episode in a series on Sandrines case.
Discussion around her case has reignited with more information.

I'll attach several links to active Facebook groups investigating Sandrines disappearance.

This first one is to the group around the podcast just released. I've also included the Spotify link and a detail blog around what I consider the prime suspect.

The answers are here and we are closer then ever before!

I watched it.
Left me wondering who actually witnessed her leaving the house or waiting at the gate? because I thought it was strange that her phone and purse were left in the house.
I believe that would be what the friend she was visiting claimed.
I also think the fact her phone and purse were left at the house is very odd - if you’re leaving you take those with you.

Also the laptop encryption and info that there had been someone use it to visit a human trafficking site is very worrying. Add that someone has changed her log in details for email and social media along with wiping her emails.

The lack of any proper investigation by qld police is a serious concern and very curious. It makes me wonder if there was any police corruption or involvement in her disappearance.

If visiting a friend why would you get your purse out and leave it? Personal items Phone, purse, keys, lippy, diary usually kept in a bag, women are usually very clingy to their handbags and contents.

Emails wiped, Facebook password changed. was her laptop given to police immediately? Sounds a bit messed up.

The only reason you’d get your purse out was if money was being taken out or put into it. No way you’d leave them if you took your handbag when leaving.

It’s extremely odd

Speaking to the programme her sister Christine Day said: 'It's actually quite scary considering this was sent where the children were living at the time. Who does that especially six month after their mother went missing?'

The letters, which were sent to Sandrine's former partner and father of her children, were signed by Rosetta Bunton - a person who does not appear to exist.

Clinical psychologist Tamara Cavenett studied the letters and revealed that they continuously imply that Sandrine was promiscuous.
