The photo included in Herald report states Sarah was last seen at a friends house on 10th November.

Also in the same report it mentions the following, which seems to be another conflicting piece of info.

BBM

The case, which was taken up by the homicide squad in the middle of last week, is now considered a murder investigation

"what they believe to be human remains" Strangely worded and good pick up with that piece of conflicting information.

Not sure why the quote didn't show up but the fact that it was quoted the tenant had a little dog again sparked my interest.

This guy I have in my mind as a suspect has a little dog he calls his baby.
In regard to the maps he has on his profile- I google mapped the details I got from his profile and it did match the location of the house where the body was found. Also, the houses look similar in the estate and he has a pic which looks very much like the houses in this estate.

I would be questioning why a guy who looks quite old is hanging out with and commenting on a 21 year olds FB regardless.

I'm tired of hearing about these male predators. Just sickening.
Thinking exactly the same on all counts, Curious.

How frustrating marlywings. Especially considering we had a bit of trouble trying to figure out which date was in fact correct when I was starting this thread. Now they're saying it was taken over by the homicide squad in the MIDDLE OF LAST WEEK. Argh, I can't keep up! My preggo brain can't handle this.

Reading his Facebook when I first checked out Sarah's FB, I'm not surprised he got the "it's not you it's me" letter. I have to say, I get the creepy hinky vibe when reading his page.

Then the dog.
Neighbours believe the house where two men were renting had been vacant for about a week, but they had not seen a woman enter it. A Neighbour who lives near the Fongeo Drive house, said two men rented the house but she had not seen anyone there for the past week. One of them had only just moved in about four to six weeks ago. He had had a little dog and we didn't see him much. I haven't seen him for a good week or so.

My hinky meter is going right off. MOO

Scary he was not there, scary they are not releasing photos and/or a description of either of them to try and find them! Can only hope this means they have a good idea where he is and are just waiting for some reason.

They are being very quiet. Hopefully we will get some updates eventually.

Has anyone checked out the guy named T <modsnip>that S <modsnip> checked into the "rape dungeon" with on his page? Guessing its his house mate?

Folks just a reminder to be careful about posting names of people who have not been named as POI. At this stage there's been no suspects names mentioned by police or in MSM.

Been following this all weekend.

Im very saddened that Melbourne has had another young woman in trouble, IMO at the hands of what seems (at this point) some predator(s).

Latest
Detective Inspector Michael Roberts from the homicide squad said the identity of a body found at a Point Cook home raided by police during the investigation had not been confirmed yet, ‘‘but we certainly believe it is Sarah Cafferkey’’.

My heart goes out to her family & loved one's as we all wait for more news.

Police rule out foul play after missing woman Sarah Cafferkey's car found.

by: Wayne Flower
From: Herald Sun November 16, 2012 4:30PM

BBM.

If Sarah is hiding out somewhere, I hope she has the good sense to let someone know where she is. If she has had an asthma attack, surely someone would have found her and sought medical help or notified the Police. Apparently it is still unclear as to whether Sarah has her medication with her or not.

Pretty shocking that foul play had been "ruled out" as recently as Friday. I don't think LE should ever say that, unless they have had contact with the person. Obviously, she was probably dead by the time this came out.

Totally agree and I am trying to keep in mind it was possibly Police "stategy".
Just an idea- but perhaps it was to stall possible perps (not that any POI has been yet named)- so LE could watch and collate evidence of movements etc

Be interested to hear other peoples views on this.

Totally devestated, that its likely to be Sarah, but we still need to wait out official identification! What an awful, gut wrenching time for her friends and family :(

Hi, my names is James Gow, or JG as you have put it... Someone told me you guys had mentioned my fb post here?

 • #176
with the neighbours saying the house had been empty for the last week it sounds like the tenants went on the run within a day of Sarahs disappearance.

I'd say don't make judgements about the age difference between Sarah and someone she had as a friend, she could have met them through work, friends or family, age has very little to do with friendships or relationships. I've known people who have had huge gaps in age with their partners, some close to 20 years or more, men with much younger women and women with much younger men.

Hi Amee. I just wanted to make it clear that I am not accusing the person I have identified, but am merely pointing out the fact that he has to be someone of interest, based on the evidence available to me.Some people have said this is wrong, but I have received overwhelming support from most others. Thoughts on this? I can't edit the original post to remove names, either.

:welcome: JG. I was reading your posts on the Facebook page yesterday and keeping track. I understand that you weren't accusing this person, just stating what you had found. Which you have every right to. It was a good pick up. Glad to have you here with us at WS!
