'Worst serial killer in nation's history' could be to blame for missing NSW women, MP says

A NSW politician has claimed the "worst serial killer in Australia's history" may be to blame for dozens of missing or murdered women in the state.
A fresh spotlight is now on the investigations into 67 women who were killed or went missing between 1977 and 2009 on the NSW North Coast.

Former Greens MP and member of NSW legislative council Jeremy Buckingham gave an impassioned speech in parliament about the scores of unsolved cases in the area which he said had "alarming similarity".

There are certainly a lot of missing and murdered persons in this area. I think the idea that Ivan MIlat can be blamed has potentially allowed others to slip through the cracks.
I believe ****MOO***** that Ivan Milat was like the Claremont serial killer- his active times as a killer lined up with his relationship status.

Why have they stopped at 2009? Even in the last few years there are more and more women going missing under suspicious circumstances which are eerily similar.
