Accessory after the fact could be anything, just telling Marcus what he'd done would make him an accessory surely?
I wonder if Vincent has said anything at all since his arrest, maybe twin has been arrested to try and gain info from Vincent.

Just another thought that perhaps the brother wasnt in fact in leeton to assist directly but gave instructions on how to cover up over the phone. My guess is that the photo was sent to the brother to ask if he did a good enough cover up job

IIRC it was From Germany who was always convinced that Vincent could not have done this crime alone. He speculated that Marcus could have driven over from SA and worked out the hours it could have taken.

I was never convinced because there were reports that they did not get on. I wonder if Marcus was already there staying for Easter.

IMO the police must have mobile evidence that Vincent was assisted by phone in how to cover up his crimes or they have DNA evidence which may have taken all this time to be analysed.

Congratulations to From Germany He is probably asleep at the moment and will get a shock about this latest revelation.

Asked if he knew anything about the warrant for his arrest, Stanford told the court he did not and indicated he had not spoken to a lawyer.

Marcus Stanford was ordered into the custody of NSW detectives to appear in Sydney Central Local Court on Thursday.

He will remain in custody in Adelaide overnight on Wednesday and is scheduled to board a flight to Sydney at 9.30am SA time.

I am not convinced the brother actually drove to Leeton ( and back) over Easter,... and only the Sunday and Monday .... hard roads, hard driving.. there is some sort of ring of truth when he says * further up * that he 'has never been to Leeton ' so isn't technically returning there .

there has to be another explanation other than this.. the whole story is so off the wall....

Wow! Amazing development here...

From what I recall, the photo(s) of the burned body was found on a camera in Vincent's car, not on his phone; so it's possible Vincent emailed the photo to Marcus instead?

It seems they searched the residence Marcus was staying at this morning, so they probably checked out his computer for evidence.

I also find it interesting how some news sources are blurring the face of Marcus, while others are not. The photo of Marcus with the beer is not visible to the public on Facebook as well; you would have to be friends with him to acquire this image? Unless someone saved it when Vincent's identity went public, and Marcus quickly changed his privacy settings then?

The definition of accessory in NSW means giving assistance.

So it appears he may have provided assistance from SA. Highly unlikely he would have gone all the way to Leeton, especially given he's been charged as an accessory after the fact. I'm guessing Vincent got in touch after the murder, wanting advice in how he should conceal the body/his actions

I for one feel really angry right now. I felt awful for Marcus when Vincent was originally arrested, thinking how terrible it must feel to have your twin brother do such a thing. Now it looks like he was fine with covering up his brother's despicable actions, and never felt guilty enough to come forward, even after his brother was arrested and charged.

I wonder if the connection and basis for the charge is actually quite tenuous but that the police think they can exploit the estrangement to get more info on VS. I can totally see a plea bargain in exchange for info coming soon...
