Unlike the US, the public in Australia does not have access to photos of bodies of deceased people.

Interesting im late i know.

As quoted...

Local resident Mitchell Morri described the deceased men as friendly neighbours who were well-known in the area. He recalled one of the men would often sit out the front of the house with a beer, and both were pleasant when encountered on the street.

they sounded like valued members of the area.

Sad. I have worked with elderly people living in these types of homes and they are so unsafe for many reasons. But when they don’t have the cognitive or mental resources or physical strength to make changes the places get worse and worse. And there aren’t a lot of services to help. I remember calling police to do a welfare check for a client and it took them so long to try and move through the piles in her home to look for her, I was so worried that she was buried under there. As it turned out she was ok but furious at me for bringing the police to her home, she felt quite ashamed I think.

I wish there were more people like you in the world.
