and he will be under 24/7 observation.. the days of having a private piddle have gone forever. No one in the Q Pol Force wants to risk losing him a second time.. I bet they will give him a bit of a tough time for pulling such a rank act on them while under their supervision, and such a public 'up yours' to his own family, the police, Tia's mother, the community in general..........

Yellow pages please & make it a big one.

Just kidding our cops must be extra polite. God that must be so hard. I couldn't do their job, I know I couldn't.

I crack up every time you refer to him as Hairbro! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

Trooper started that & by the way that bloody alpaca look-a-like got me rolling on the ground.
Hilarious you lot!

Now back to Tiahleigh's justice.....where's that noose?

Wow ~ the course of justice is moving quickly now! Sooo good to see! I am having a really tough time wrapping my head around the Case Manager of Tia actually responding to former foster carers/family that 'Tia tells lies' (if this is what actually happened/was said - in regards to Tia running away and not wanting to go back to RT and his sick bunch) I worked in lotttts of residential homes in my former life and I can't imagine a worker not following up on serious accusations or even a hint that something was not right for Tia's new foster home...this is bizarre and isn't a matter of being overworked/underpaid for the Case Manager - it is pure and utter neglect of their duties and an integral component in working with kids in foster care. Even a hint of something not right was always followed up in all the homes I was in...especially as ALL workers spoke with each other and gossiped or speculated or debriefed after an horrific shift...going on the middle of the night drives to find run-away kids and being half-asleep and stroppy and cursing DOCs for not paying enough for this s***. but, the duty-of-care always took over as we were accountable and that was made very clear from the get-go....very, very weird

TEN 5PM NEWS - Burnt material has been dug up at Thorburn home and taken for testing - No sign of Tiah's school uniform or backpack yet. Thanks for the insight. Yes, according to the article I posted earlier the case worker said something along the lines of, "kids tell stories".

my quote thingy isn't working, matey......

I wonder what Mrs Thorburn would have to offer as a deal.. unless she knows where the uniform and backpack are, and if she knows that, she is in bigger trouble than she is now.. ...

Police dig for evidence at Tiahleigh Palmer’s foster home

Kate Kyriacou, Clare Armstrong, Greg Stolz, Jack McKay, The Courier-Mail
September 23, 2016 3:50pm

Earlier, police removed several items from the home of Tiahleigh Palmer’s foster family this afternoon.
Several plastic bags were taken away from the Thorburn family’s Chambers Flat property by police just before 1pm.
It is not known if the items were taken from the house or as a result of excavations taking place at the back of the property.

Police are hoping to find any evidence related to the 12-year-old’s alleged murder. Tiahleigh’s school uniform and backpack have never been found and could provide vital information to investigators if discovered.

Tiahleigh’s foster mother has returned to the property to tend to the horses for a third consecutive day.

Julene Thorburn, 54, drove up to the home, which has been declared a crime scene since Tuesday, just before midday.
Ignoring the huddle of media as she waited for the police to open the gate at the driveway, she proceeded to feed the two horses at the property. She tended the horses alone, having previously visited with her 20-year-old son, Josh on Wednesday.

Excavations continued in the backyard but Ms Thorburn stayed at the front of the house, well away from the digging.
Ms Thorburn spoke briefly with police officers at the property before leaving just after 12.10pm.
Ms Thorburn has been charged with perjury and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
