which reminded me, .... Gabe has certainly lost his figure over this event.. he could barely roll along the street, ... ...

Lol Troop, as us country folk would say he's been in a good paddock. Seems GT ( aka ET) has been living high on the hog awaiting trial.

Well, we know he likes a little supreme pizza when things are a bit tense ... like when a girl has just died after not-so-mysteriously falling from your balcony.

that has to be the most chilling part of this crime.. his appetite wasn't halted, he knew the phone number of the pizza place, he had the money ready, he knew which pizza he wanted... nothing fazes the Boy Wonder in his quest for a nightime snack, and after all, he had asked Warriena if she wanted to go for a walk to get a pizza, he was determined to have one...

This is a mind that has bypassed all known parameters of normal human deportment..

It'd be interesting to see if the roles were reversed and the male was being violent with the female, then all the feminists would be in uproar over the drunken violence towards women etc. If the male was drunk and beating up the female because he was drunk, then again, there would be hell to pay for the male, cant control his alchohol, beating up on a woman.

But when I read whats written here, I read excuses for the female to be violent towards a male. Please tell me when its appropriate to go back to someones apartment and be violent towards them, threaten them etc. (you might say because he's giving her alcohol) I don't read about him forcing the alcohol down her throat, shes an adult, has willingly gone back to his apartment and willingly drunk alcohol and is willingly being violent towards someone (as per the records). How would those on WS take it if Tostee had have been a female too, which side would you have taken then? (poses an interesting thought)

Hey, Tostee maybe an *******, made bad decisions or whatever, but from what I've read from the posters from WS here, it to me looks allot like double standards.

We should start a poll who thinks it's ok for a woman to be violent to a male?

Double standards whatever. My boys will always treat a woman better than that.

Wasnt talking about your boys. I was talking about posters here thinking its ok for women to be violent towards men, or making excuses for women to be violent towards men.

<snipped the sexist crap>

How long have you been following this case John Dillinger?

And it's poll, not pole.

From the beginning I've suspected it was pre-meditated. He thinks very highly of his intellect. Planning the perfect crime?
Everything he says is to the recording, therefore he tells the recording he is such a nice guy, he is not showing us he is a nice guy but telling us he is a nice guy. He tells us that she is beating him yet she is the one who is recorded as sounding terrified. And he is a fricking giant, physically, compared to Warriena.
And she is the one who died.
So who is zoomin' who?

For a long time. I read all of Balcony boys posts/threads back on the body building forums back in the day. So i know what hes like. But didn't know i hd to follow a case to have an opinion on women violence towards men. This case or not, no excuses for violence. Male or females, apart from WS where there are excuses for female violence against men.

And just to add a further reply to your ridiculous comments, it was Gable Tostee who was violent to Warriena Wright. And that is why we are here 'in an uproar', as you so ignorantly put it. Gable Tostee was not only violent to Warriena Wright he physically caused her death. He's been charged with her murder, remember? It has nothing to do with feminists or whatever garbage you're spruiking. Warriena Wright is dead and Gable Tostee caused her death. Spare us the gender equality garbage, it doesn't belong here.

Innocent to proven guilty. We'll see how this one pans out.

At least answer me this. Reading what was tweeted by the reporter from court today.

1. Do you agree warriena was violent towards Gable on the night of her death? Yes or no?

2. If yes, do you condone these actions?

So you've read all of Tostee's garbage on SM. Have you listened to his three hour tape of the night Warriena died? Have you read the full transcript of that tape? Have you noted how he has tried to insinuate that she was violent towards him by throwing stones at him and trying to 'beat' him with a small telescope holder? Have you listened to Warriena gasping for breath while he held her down and was choking her? Have you listened to her screams of "no, no, please let me go home"? Have you heard her last scream as she went over the balcony?

What decent man or woman would run and hide from that? What decent man or woman would wander off down the road and buy pizza while a woman lay dead outside their apartment building after falling from their balcony? Irrespective of their gender both Warriena and Tostee were certainly no angels but the plain and glaring fact is Warriena is dead and Tostee is on trial for her murder.

Don't lump everyone on Websleuths' into your perceived category of what they may think and post. This is a victim friendly forum and Warriena is the victim in this instance. It's not about gender, it's about murder.

I'm not victim blaming, its evidence in court or cant we talk about evidence, do we have to put a spin on the facts.

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-10-...recording-with-warriena-wright-played/7919842

Here aresome quots from todays evidence given in court.

Some time later, Ms Wright is heard hitting Tostee, who yells out in pain and says "that's enough".

When she cannot find her phone, she threatens to call police and yells: "I will f***ing destroy your jaw. It's not f***ing funny."

Tostee says: "I didn't say you have to leave, I just said stop beating me up."

"I don't deserve this s*** alright. I'm a nice f***ing guy … calm down, please," he says.
"You were beating me up for no reason. You thought it was funny. It's not.

This is evidence, not victim blaming or adding femanist spin to the case.

He may have been defending himself, when strangling her etc

Of course it's innocent until proven guilty, that's why Tostee is on trial.

I'll answer your question with a question. What is your definition of violence? Is verbal abuse part of your equation? If that's the case then I'll say yes Warriena was verbally abusive to Tostee. Yes she threatened him in her drunken stupor while he poured her more alcohol all the while knowing full well that she was very drunk.

No, I don't agree that Warriena was physically violent towards Tostee. Throwing stones at him in a drunken, stupid manner is not my idea of violence. Crap behaviour, yes but not violence. Tostee was enjoying the interaction with Warriena, it is plainly obvious on the tape. He was goading her to act up for the recording going on without her knowledge. Violence is tying someone up against their will, throwing them to the ground, trying to choke them, dragging them out onto a balcony against their will and leaving them locked out there while in a state of panic and fear. That is violence. If Tostee was so worried about his personal safety why didn't he drag or simply escort Warriena to the front door and say goodnight? The distance between the balcony and the front door is not dissimilar.
