"Former Bond law student accused of being ‘wedge’ as murder accused Gable Tostee splits with top criminal lawyers

But this is not her first brush with the legal system. Ms Frost has also been banned from the Bond University campus and charged with obstructing police after a one- woman protest at a lecture in 2012.

Court documents reveal Ms Frost was physically removed from a Bond lecture, “kicking and screaming and yelling” before being arrested and “dragged” to a police car."

Hi Celest. You will notice that we discuss many things on this thread. Core issues, side issues, alternate theories, alternate actions, similar cases, other charges, etc etc etc.

It is within TOS to do so. It does not matter if two (current) posters think it is relevant or not.

As you are apparently a new member, just thought that I would give you this link to the rules and thread etiquette.

My guess is OGorman is motivated by spite, because he lost a high profile client that was going to make him a lot of money, and give him some fame, and well as a feather in his cap for an easy win.

Respecfully snipped by me

O'Gorman's motivation is not feathers in his cap or easy money IMO

Until there is a Commital Hearing, all of the rotating Tostee voices on multiple forums of possible motivations at certain moments (that he is on a recording saying he "can't remember") are absolutely pointless, and come across as the ramblings of a dry drunk.

I'm out of hospital, yay!

Justice Mullins said she reflected on whether Mr Tostee was a flight risk given the lengthy jail term if he was found guilty of murder at trial.

However she said Mr Tostee acknowledged that fleeing would imply guilt, and the publicity of the case would make it difficult for him to survive on the run.

BBM: Not to mention, who would bail him out of all his 'little mistakes' and employ him, if dad is not close by?

When has being let out on bail EVER been an indication of someone's innocence when charged with murder? When has it EVER indicated that the police don't believe a person actively participated in a victim's death, when the charge is murder?

What's been reported widely is that police don't believe Tostee was on the balcony when Warriena fell.

As it happens, neither do I.

"Mr Power drew the court’s attention to an alternative definition of murder that deals with an unlawful act with a likelihood of death, rather than a *deliberate intention to kill."

Actually, the prosecutor says he locked her out and she climbed over trying to escape. That rules out any possibility that Tostee assisted her over the balcony.

And when have police ever agreed to bail on a murder charge?

The bail act considers the strength of the case against the accused as a factor in determining whether bail is granted.

Prosecutors who opposed bail, although it appeared Tostee was inside the apartment when Ms Wright fell, she died trying to escape him and was acting out of the justified fear he would hurt her.

Well my opinion is that such theories are completely absurd.

Is your move everything you anticipated? I'd want to move too if my sammich wasn't being bought elsewhere.

No, it doesn't.

A complaint about Julie Frost does not mean she had anything to do with Tostee's choice of lawyer.

As for the media "making stuff up", it happens literally all the time.

Actually, no. The media that we are allowed to link here doesn't "literally make stuff up" all the time. Not true. I prefer to discuss facts, not your fictitious hyperbole.
