Accused killer Gable Tostee's appearance seems to have changed drastically in the two years since he was charged with the murder of a New Zealand tourist he met on Tinder.
Tostee was pictured arriving at Brisbane Supreme Court on Tuesday where he is currently on trial over the murder of 26-year-old Warriena Wright.
As the 30-year-old walked down the street ahead of the second day of his murder trial, his face and abdomen were noticeably different to the profile photos he used on social media around the time Ms Wright fell to her death from his apartment in 2014.

If you had been following the case, you would be aware that the early transcript doctored up by Police to hang Tostee and prejudice his bail application was full of errors. Justice Byrne was most likely referring to this when he made that point.

BIB: Ah, that's why Justice Byrne instructed the Jury the audio is the evidence, not the transcript. I didn't know the reason why but thought it strange. Thanks for that tidbit.

I don't believe that is the reason, UndiscoveredTruth.
It is because the recording is the evidence from that night. The transcript is something that was prepared after the fact, as an aid.

if you had been following the case, you would be aware that Police said the recording was found on Tostee's Sony Xperia phone, although they suspected it was transferred to the phone from an unknown external source.

I presume that is what you refer to as 'police doctoring up' the transcript?..... that just doesn't make sense. At All.
