The same article Puggle was referring to. It was published on March 18, 2015, not today. It is eerily similar to what BS is charged with, more so in relation to the ages of the two little girls. IMO this is not connected to BS.

Quirindi NSW is over four hours north of Campbelltown NSW where BS allegedly raped and assaulted two little girls, so I don't think they are the same girls mentioned in the Farrant case. The only connection I can see is that both of these excuses for human beings need to spend the rest of their lives behind bars!

It is interesting that Farrant decided to hand himself into Port Macquarie Police Station where Gary Jubelin is stationed. I think there are a lot of paedophiles out there feeling very uncomfortable right now.

Puggle, you could have posted the link. It's no biggie really. It's published in MSM and you were simply doing a comparison of the case against BS.

Why Port Maquarie Police Station I wonder?

pub - 22 April 2015
The investigation continues to gather pace with State Crime Command detectives based at Port Maquarie Police Station for the week.
The officiers usually operate out of Parramatta and occasionally visit the Mid North Coast.
But this week the investigators have been holed up in a locked room inside the local area command.

Two arrest with such similar briefs in the same week the State Crime Command was based in Port.

The article mentions that Oxley Local Area Command were investigating the allegations.

Oxley LAC covers Quirindi, but not Port Macquarie. He presented to Port Macquarie Police Station on March 18 where he was arrested by detectives.

Police searched bushland near Spedding's home on March 2, approx 2 weeks before the Quirindi pedophile was arrested (I'm working on a timeline atm).

How did the media not twig onto this? Unless they were advised not to?

It definitely hit a few media sources .... but it is interesting to see that the police media release has been pulled.

Wish we could do a backwards search on court appearances on the day of/following the arrest ..... :gaah:

And what a gorgeous little baby. All the more reason why I personally want to protect these precious little ones from the filth of this world!

I think everyone here feels the same Makara.
It's an unthinkable act.
No words, just no words.

Are there wives of pedos who sometimes know about these things but go into complete denial?

Highly recommend the documentary "Capturing the Friedmans" (2003) to get a glimpse of people living in denial.

The way some people live in a haze is really quite staggering, but that documentary highlighted how possible it is.

Mind you, the flip side is the hyperbolic reaction from the community - which made it quite difficult to understand what was real or not. If you read some articles about the case that were written after the documentary, you might get a better idea.

Sorry if this has already been answered, but why is this only being released now if it happened over a month ago?

It is not released today, Manny. Some websites show today's date in the header, but the actual date of the article right above the article. It is the format of the website. All old articles on that type of website will show with the correct date, but the header will always say today's date. (Hope that makes sense!)

I'd say he now lives in the area.

I'd say he now lives in the area.

I agree that it is very likely he lives in the area.

It is the dates that I find very coincidental
18th - Historical Quirindi charges
22nd - BS - historical charges
All while the team are up from Sydney for the week, that began with the parents interview. imo

POLICE have revealed they believe William Tyrrell may still be alive as the investigation into his disappearance gathers momentum.

Lead investigator Detective Inspector Gary Jubelin will be in Port Macquarie this week to continue the new line of inquiry which is linked to an alleged paedophile ring.
The investigation is now “fast-paced” and police are “throwing everything we have got into finding out what happened to William”.

“Without compromising our investigations, the information we have received we consider (it) significant and are fully exploring all aspects of the information,” Det Insp Jubelin said.

I don't think polygraph testing is used here in Australia, please correct me if I'm wrong

We did some research about this in another case ... can't think which one right now ... and yes, police do use polygraph testing here in Australia. We couldn't find out how much they use it, and it is not admissable in court, but it is used.

... provide lie detection services, truth verification & polygraph testing on numerous high profile cases including;
Polygraph testing for 66 homicide cases for the Victoria Police Homicide Squad, South Australia Police Major Crime Squad and the Australian Federal Police.

http://polygraph.com.au/

Steve also consults his services to the Victoria Police homicide squad and the South Australian Police Major Crime Squad and has conducted polygraph testing for 64 high profile homicide cases and one serial killer investigation.
http://polygraph.com.au/our-examiners/

Polygraph examiner Gavin Wilson, a former South Australian police officer who trained in the USA, said Australian police also find the tests useful, despite being unable to use them in court.
“It’s another tool in the police’s armoury,” Mr Wilson told True Crime Scene.

I agree that it would not be connected to Spedding’s historical charges, Makara. But I am curious to know if this creep is currently associated with a ring that Spedding is also (currently) associated with. They just may have no current charges to bring against the Quirindi creep …. yet.

But he may be doing some talking, perhaps with the condition of a deal from the prosecutor - which is always a bit of a double-edged sword.

My first thoughts too after coming across the article ... surely part of the same ring as BS.

I cannot help but wonder how airtight that 2pm Dunbogan repair job is. imo

I think that many police agencies in many countries use polygraph testing, not as a clincher in the case, but more to gauge how willing is the suspect to agree to a polygraph. Personally I feel that the willingness of the POI to take a poly says a lot to me an innocent person would do anything to prove their innocence.

I'm afraid this pedo ring is going to be very far reaching. I think they are linked to William disappearing, which gives me hope that William is still alive. I know that I have seen William's missing poster and information on a Canadian crime stoppers page. I have to wonder if investigators have good reason to suspect William was moved out of the country. I watched a documentary many years ago of an adopted father,it was an illegal adoption complete with fake paperwork he was selling his young son all over the world, all travel expenses paid. These pedo's seem to be in every walk of life and every profession and every nationality.

Earlier in the day, Mr Spedding also had some work in nearby Dunbogan, Colin said. Detectives visited the waterside hamlet on Wednesday and spoke with locals.

Either sloppy reporting or Colin has put his foot in it again. "Earlier in the day?" I thought the story was always that he went there after the awards ceremony

I notice in your article, the friends they were staying with must live in Port Macquarie .... or he was staying in Port Macquarie without Margaret after the search.

"Mr Spedding was free to return to the semi-rural property he shares with his three grandchildren but remained in Port Macquarie on Friday."

Yes Angeline Colin has been all over the place when detailing BS alibi on that day.
So it seems in my opinion it is up to the credibility/evidence of the witnesses that were said to be with him at the cafe and school presentation and I guess at the Dunbogan repair job.

And perhaps the location/pings of his phone that day .... and maybe even the tennis club and bottle shop CCTV.

Why would police need to speak to "locals" in Dunbogan???...Surely one local...the client he went to see for a job would be enough???...
