Yep, it will be surreal to finally have our questions answered, especially after going months with no information at all (up until the raids.)

I am a new member (an Aussie too). I haven't read all of the posts here but I wonder why the parents were disguised in their TV interview. Perhaps they were in witness protection for informing police about another crime and the criminals involved have sought "justice" for being snitched on.

Welcome Cluesense. I think it would be wise for you to read all of the posts to give you a better understanding of where we're at at this stage in this case. We've learned that little William's family circumstances are complicated, hence the reason why the identity of his parents has not been revealed and that is to be respected here. I can assure you that William's parents are not in a witness protection program.

Could someone please summarise this 'celery trees' thing, I keep hearing it mentioned but seem to've missed it all?

When we were following Baden-Clay's path to gaol we were obsessing about cars, roundabouts, cameras AND locals. I think it was 'Aunty' who had an overwhelming feeling Allison's body was under Kholo Bridge and wanted to take a look.
Our boyz in blue were reading what we were writing.....and at times we DO "pin that tail on the donkey"!
The celery tree was mentioned by mum so it is significant to where William was. He may have been snatched from that very tree.

So if someone had been waiting for Mrs. Wilson to leave her house, they could have been in for a long wait. Unless they knew that she was going out at a particular time, which just happened to coincide with William being in his grandmother's backyard. Mrs. Wilson also said that this someone would've known the other neighbour was away. Man, this someone seems to be privy to a lot of information about the residents in Benaroon Drive! I personally don't believe that anyone was lying in wait to snatch William.

I don't believe anyone was waiting either, the odds would have been so low that William was going to run around the house by himself, the perp could have been waiting days for this to happen and would have been so risky. I still believe Jubelin spelt out to us exactly what happened, "Two Worlds Collided"sadly for William.

Paraphrasing from The Australian article. Due to Websleuths TOS we're not permitted to quote directly from The Australian due to it being behind a paywall.

William's mother and grandmother sat outside while William and his sister played in the unfenced garden, which slopes down steeply to the road. At one point William is seen hiding behind a Celery Wood tree, halfway down the garden.

Snoop Dog posted the following in regard to the Celery Wood tree.

I've been hunting for that celerytree, is this possibly it?

I could be wrong though. It looks like it'd be fun for a kid to climb.

The way the branches branch up and out the way they do seems similiar to this picture of a celerywood:

Yes but it also occurred to me that the police may read this and test how much circumstantial evidence would get them over the line with a jury by testing out our responses to information from the media.

Their identity couldn't be shown due to the fact that William has a difficult and complicated past, which if one thinks about it, you can work that out, i doubt its due to the parents being in witness protection.

Welcome to WS, always great to have new thoughts.

Hed broke his leg so was unable to search. I think his posts were thinking along the lines of if william was out in the bush near his property. He isnt a neighbour of benaroon but lives a few streets away i believe :)

I remember reading those posts from that neighbour, he said he was going out on to his back verandah and listening for William, calling out to him. Was there something he posted about having a medical issue of sorts so couldn't be out there physically searching for William himself? I think he said something like that.

Apollosong, are you referring to Robert Douglas who was quoted in MSM. My understanding is that he lives in Laurieton, just around the corner from BS's 'office' and not in Benaroon Drive.
