Another little thing that crosses my mind regarding grandad passing away, I wonder if William had actually walked to the cemetery at some point in the past with mum and dad and just maybe he decided to go by himself once he had finished his picture. A long shot I know but 3 year olds can be unpredictable at times, even the most placid ones. One of mine decided to go for a walk by himself at a similar age, he had the dog so I think he felt he wasn't alone. Luckily I caught him a couple of houses away but still all happened in 5 to 10 minutes tops, I was hanging washing out at the time and also lived in a kind of rural area.

The only problem with that is that the dogs only traced his scent to the end of the drive

It's very quiet on the wt front around here. We have heard nothing :( , hoping they are chipping away, getting closer to finding him

The thing with all this too is wether it was up the path, out the front or back or wherever really there is no details of who except for one possible suspect. Not saying it is him just saying that the exact where does not matter much as there is no details of who. If we knew x was in the cemetery y was out the front and z out the back it would be relevant. But there isn't [emoji20]

The dogs tracking William's scent only to the end of the drive does of course fit with someone simply bundling him into a vehicle and whisking him away.
I don't know if it's because I've been on school holidays and had more time on my hands to check in here over the past week or two, but to me it seems like this has been the quietest time regarding William's case (with regards updates or news) that we've had for a while. I hope something breaks soon :/

This article includes William's parents' account of that day.
I find it chilling to think while mum was looking for William he was being taken further and further away.

*
As the mother of missing toddler William Tyrrell walked in circles and ripped open cupboards yelling, "You need to talk to mummy and tell me where you are," she knew in the pit of her stomach that someone had snatched him.
Her horrifying account of the moment her son vanished comes as police investigate information which may link an organised paedophile ring to the three-year-old's abduction.
"When I realised that William was missing – I think back to that moment where I just went, 'I can't hear him, why, why can't I hear him'," she said.

"I just walked out and just I see nothing, I hear nothing, I'm speechless. I'm walking around in a circle on the spot thinking where is he? Why can't I see him? And I'm yelling out, 'William, where are you'?

"I kept going in my head, 'somebody has taken him'. In my mind it was the only logical explanation for what could have happened."
William was playing with his sister in the yard of his grandmother's Kendall home on the state's mid north coast when he vanished on September 12 last year.

Describing William
What William looks like

Now 4-years-old, William is of Caucasian appearance.
William was above average height for his age. Not overly tall but taller than most boys his age when he disappeared. William walks with a “swagger”.
William has hazel eyes and brown straight hair which grows very quickly. His hair is thicker on the top of his head and finer towards the base of his head near his neck.
William has one rather large dark freckle on the left-hand side, top of his head about 5cm back from his hairline. It is a dark chocolate colour.

William’s Health

Generally William was in good health, strong and fit however, he suffered from asthma, particularly during the colder weather at night and would have coughing fits.

William’s medication is: Ventolin 2 puffs when needed and Flixotide at night time as a preventer.
If the asthma was particularly distressing for him RediPred needs to be given to assist with his breathing.
William’s vaccinations were up to date when he disappeared BUT he will need his 4 year old vaccinations.
William had good strong teeth and loved going to the dentist for his check-ups.
