Yes L2L. It's been like this for a couple of days. Very worrying. let's hope the police are still gathering important information and haven't come to a dead end. Someone other than the abductor has to know something.

Is there no news at all from sleuthers in the Kendall/Laurieton area?

It seems the media are leaving BS alone too. That or he hasn't left his home so nothing to report or maybe they don't know where he is

  • #323
Surely they do? From memory he has to report to Police Station everyday. Or do you men the media? Perhaps they should ask old Colin! I wonder why he's being so quiet and out of the public eye? And Margaret too? Perhaps being careful not to say the wrong thing......

Yes I mean the media, I thought they would be all over him

  • #325
Yes I agree. Unless the police has asked them to hold off. I can't help but feel thought that the longer this goes on, the less hope there is. I would love to wake up tomorrow to hear that he has been found alive and returned home.

Yes, has to be seen somewhere, especially when he has to report to police station every day. Puzzle!

William 5 year old sisters words. Just so sad.

I love my brother and I miss him. I get sad when I think bad people have hurt him.

2nd August before the primary activities of the campaigns are launched. I do not understand the delay.

It just seems too quiet.

The quiet could be good news.
Cowan nearly got away because of a police bungle.....
In the Daniel Morcombe case, Cowan was originally eliminated as a POI until Michael Barnes, who had form for reviving and solving long-abandoned murder cases was put on the job.
Enter Detective Jubelin

http://www.theaustralian.com.au/new...t-lured-a-killer/story-e6frg6nf-1226854291287

While Cowan remained on a whittled-down list of 33 “persons of interest”, by early 2010 police had ruled him out as a real suspect: “Timeframes ascertained by investigators of the movements of Daniel don’t allow for sufficient time for Cowan to commit the offence and get back home,” a police note said.
sounding familiar?

The breakthrough came with the coronial inquest - held in late 2010 and early 2011 and presided over by the forensic Michael Barnes, who had form for reviving and solving long-abandoned murder cases. Barnes, now NSW Coroner, had long wanted to hold an inquest into the case.

Bruce and Denise Morcombe were increasingly frustrated with progress of the investigation into their son’s disappearance and agreed with Barnes.

Can anyone remember the pic of the red phone booth that bs posted on his fb page? Does anyone know where that phone booth is located? I'm sure it was discussed quite early on.

I've searched everywhere for the pic of the (S)Peddo van parked among the police cars outside grandma's house only days after William went missing. The pic has been pulled from everywhere.
I remember it was parked between both driveways, behind the closest bush to the road.
I wonder if that's where he parked on the day of the abduction and spotted William playing.

It does seem to have been removed from public view. Could this be because it is a potential piece of evidence in the event of charges being laid?

  • #339
I think that photo was removed as the telegraph were accused of photoshopping it.

Yes I'm thinking the same. What other reason could there be? I mean EVERYWHERE.

I think this is what you're referring to. These weren't photoshopped. Someone had removed the 'S' or it has worn off.
