I just read that [emoji1] Did we know this? I do not remember reading it anywhere.

Jones and Bickford were also questioned at length about any connection to William's disappearance and they were asked to provide details of where they were on September 12..........
It is understood Jones used to live in Wellington in north-west NSW, where Mr Spedding also lived and ran a pawnbroker business until his move to the Mid North Coast............
Mr Spedding's Bonny Hills home and Laurieton business were searched earlier this year as part of William's case.

No I didn't know that krig
But the pawnbroking business in Wellington that BS ran and Jones being mentioned in the same sentence earlier today just made me wonder what maight have taken place in Wellington.
I do recall it being said that BS had gone to Wellington to tie up business or something like that.

IIRC Spedding pawn business was attached to his home in Wellington. I may be incorrect. I remember wondering if anything was searched there since it had a new owner. However, I swear I'd seen he had/still has another property as well there. Something about it being built over, an old fuel station. I remember thinking underground tanks would be a good hiding place. Again i could be totally off and going from my wonky memory, but I recall it being mentioned wayyyyyy back in a thread when posters were sleuthing his properties.

The two being mentioned in the same sentence got my attention also. I have always wondered if the Pawn business was a front for something else. The name Speddo's is just too hard to get past!

Does anybody know what "HandHonTour.com" could have been? I poked around on the domain registrar information for the GAPA site and looked at other domains registered by the same person/on behalf of the same organization. I guess it's probably related to Horse and Hound, but just wondering! http://www.anchorandfish.com.au/ is also affiliated. Hope this is okay to post, it's all public information.

Jnfortunately pawnbrokers are often visited by desprrate customers.
An old service station with old tanks not a good concept as the tanks are inspected for pollution etc. No building allowed without digging them up.
Like I said, I spoke to a cop th as t said within his rural area, there was 2 towns he knew of people selling their kid s yo pay meth debts.

One minute before William disappeared the wife of a Benarron Drive resident drove out of the street.
He saw nothing strange - She saw no car - He remembers with minute detail it was 26 or 28 to 11am.

1 minute before he was snatched! She didn't see a car or anything at all?? 1 minute.
How could someone have driven in there but not past her and be there to grab him within 1 minute. Where could they have come from in that short amount of time but not drive past her??
Does that mean whoever took him was already on benaroon drive when she left..???
Isnt there only one way in???

Am I correct in stating that police would have had to approve the newest article to be posted in MSM with this new info?

I get a feeling that coming up to the anniversary of William's disappearance, the Walk, the 60 Minutes interview and now this new GAPA information we will soon be hearing something very significant regarding the case, hopefully an arrest and, if he is alive as the police have alluded to, a recovery. I feel the kettle that's been simmering away for way too long is about to boil over. I really hope so.

I do feel very sad for the members of the GAPA group who are totally innocent in these new developments, that they've now been potentially tarnished. I know a few grandparents who are doing a remarkable, often thankless, job of raising their grandchildren. I would hate for people in the community to look at them with different eyes :(

Ah yes, very cunning, but that's the perfect scenario - scout leaders, churches, orphanages, sports coaches to name just a few.

Also, I could well be imagining this and have no figures to substantiate it, so it's pure speculation, but it seems to me that since a certain computer has been seized and then its owner charged with child abuse, that there have been a significant number of peadophile arrests, not just in this area, but Australia wide. Perhaps someone is 'assisting' police with their enquiries for leniency down the track?

As in BS? That would explain why a lot of information in the media has gone missing, articles and photos have been pulled and why he's suddenly 'disappeared' from view. I wonder if that would explain why his FB page was available again, too, to 'lure' others into a false sense of security in to thinking he was 'safe'.

This interview tonight is going to be heart breaking, I really hope if someone watching who knows what happened will do the decent thing, and give the family closure.

Nothing could be worse than not knowing, and thinking of every dreadful possible scenario.

How sad to read they have only just taken Williams car seat out of the car, it's like death by a thousand cuts. How they still function amazes me.

I think it will be about 3am here when its on and I'm sick with the flu so going to bed early! Hopefully I can go back and watch it online.

:( I do not know how William's parents function either. But they have to keep it together for William's sister.

I'm not pointing this out in defense of BS or anything, but I wouldn't read to much into the Speddo's name - here in Australia it is very, very common to abbreviate names (of people, places, or even inanimate objects!) and then add either an 'o' or a 'y' on the end - Tommo, Davo, Johnno, Burnsy, Brissie.
OT I know - but our overseas posters might get a bit of an idea from this funny little clip. I don't think some Australians even realise how prevalent this is until it's pointed out to them :)

We have some interesting ways of slanging or twisting words here too in the US. Especially in the south. Of course they probably think the same about us in the north ha-ha.

I know what you mean though. Just the coincidence is uncanny. [emoji1]

Love the video [emoji1]

Crabstick....I nearly fainted when I read that....that's past my comprehension....why don't we have
the death penalty.....these people aren't human...they're filth....xxxxx

One of our neighbours had a daughter that accused her grandfather of molesting her on many occasions. Her and her brother had reached an age where being lazy wasn't paying off so they hatched a plan for easy money that didnt work out for them.

I was watching a tv program the other night about Adrian Bayley who asked for the death penalty essentially. Birnie hung himself in jail
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_and_Catherine_Birnie
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_of_Jill_Meagher

It costs more to hang someone in the US than keep a criminal for life in prison. Its not deterring criminals in the USA either.

David Birnie was consulted about the Claremont murders in which he stated he used Stirling hwy as a pick up ground.
The second killing took place two weeks later when they abducted 15-year-old Susannah Candy as she hitchhiked along Stirling Highway in Claremont. An outstanding student at the Hollywood High School

Kiddie fiddlers will give away information about other paedophiles for privileges.

Many of the kiddie fiddlers will end up in MAX away from other prisoners and are desperate to find something to hang themselves.

Death penalty is the easy way out. We need them here where we can use them.

If its really emotional reasoning for the suffering you want from the perpetrators. Pray they fall in some razor wire.

If you want them castrated, sure, you make the decision. If you make the mistake then its done to you. People aren't so forthcoming.

I think "0ne minute" doesn't necessarily mean literally one minute more figuratively speaking, and they don't know the exact time by the clock.
As to snatching him, you would only be talking seconds if William was near footpath, and you were in a vehicle. I hink 20 seconds would be more than enough time, if you had engine running.

That's true kiwi, it could have been that quick. Makes you realise how quick these things can happen sadly. Moo.
