Here are the link, but I have also edited the pictures in photo software (? don't know what the software call?). When I say edited, I have only cut (crop) it to the right size, not adding any of the detail.

Ok. What you need to do with pics found on Google Images is to visit the page where they originated from and copy and paste the link. Both of my images show up on Google images but there is an option to Visit Page and that takes you straight back to Websleuths. Just copy and paste the link.

True, I've been reading the theories, but haven't noticed any statements from the police beyond 'tactical reasons'?

The police don't have to give reasons for what they do. They've stated tactical reasons and that's all you're getting for now.

Yes I know that, but when you said it had been explained I thought maybe you meant more than just people on here.

Anyway, carry on.

Um, you got the images from Google images??? Strange that because they are images that I edited in Photoshop and posted in one of the previous threads. Please send me the link to where you got the images.

Deja Vu!

I believe in recycling :floorlaugh: :D

I don't know if she means there was literally no noise.
When my daughter was very young she wandered off from our house .... but it happened so quickly, I immediately freaked out thinking that somebody had grabbed her. It truly felt like my heart stopped beating. It was a bit like being in a vacuum and feeling so completely in shock and numb, that it probably feels like there is no sound.

I understand that you mean when a person is in panic. But I think in that situation, a mother would be at her highest alert, whatever sound there was such as car moving would definitely captured her attention, especially in such empty and quiet space.

Thanks for the screen caps Imagining. I tend to agree that William's abductor could have been hiding here. This section of the house is to the right of the garage underneath the house. As you mentioned, William and his sister would have been visible through those gaps and as he came down the hill and closer to that area, it would have been very easy to grab him place a hand over his mouth and just take off to a waiting car. Bam, all done in under a minute.

But I really think that in such quiet environment, the mother would be able to hear a car driving pass or a car door close ???

Tend to agree. But in heightened states people are known to misremember also.

In any case, there is a slight hill and any car can roll?

Also the police made a point that William may of walked down the grassy hill and farther again after being called over, responding to "hey spiderman". So that is somewhat of a distance, with bushes between. So there's a possibility for little or no noise to be heard from back up at the house, especially with the mother inside for a good few minutes.

Just an interesting site I thought I would post in case it helps any websleuthers who may not know of it. I thought it might be of interest to people who look up property data, as I saw on the last thread people were commenting on the properties for sale in the area where William went missing.

It is basically a webcrawler, taking all known public listings for rented and sold properties. It includes the for sale or rental prices, and when it was last listed etc.

It is also a handy little tool for finding all the streets in a suburb, listed alphabetically.

Now, comes to my main theory, I think the perpetrator went to Tyrell’s home and left there by foot, he might had parked a car somewhere in the bush. I saw the following image on 60 minutes. This looks like the bottom of another deck. I am suspecting that the man was hiding underneath this shelter and watching.
attachment.php

I have been checking out the property images, this shelter seems to be the bottom of another deck which is on the side of the property, the gap appeared to be the stairs of the deck, looking through the gap on the left hand side seems to be where the backyard (the other deck) is where WT was playing. The man in hiding might be able to see WT running towards the side, no other family members followed, he saw the opportunity, quickly ran out from this shelter, grabbed him from behind, he might had sedated WT as it seems there was no more sound coming from WT.

I don’t think/feel that little kids at this age would run off alone for that far (out to the road), they needs to see the people (family) that they are playing with before continue running further. I think they don’t feel safe if there aren’t someone/people besides them. WT’s last roar seems ended on the side of the property so I don’t think he had reached all the way to the road.

Great pick up Imagining! You are right, there are steps. I remember vision of William running along that hedge. If the perp was there watching then surely some DNA or scent was left.

Current Affair facebook page had an article regarding Willam. That article has now been pulled. There was a poster who claimed to be associated with docs and the judiciary making claims regarding Williams disappearance and the posts kept being deleted. I wonder why?

It would not be very tactical if police released statements about what, why, when and how they were doing things.
imo

Maybe she was so focused on William and only William and remembered other things later.

True. Just someone suggested I read up on the previous thread, as if it had been explained properly, but apparently not.

He is not making eye contact because he is reading the statement.

Yes it was pretty clear he was reading the statement.
I don't understand why he needed to read the statement to be honest.
He past on condolences to the Tyrrell family and mentioned the 2 dates he says he attended the house. Surely those dates are etched in his memory 12 months on.
Yeah ... maybe have the number to crime stoppers written down just in case you forget.
imo

Too right Soso. Imagine the police blabbing about the undercover sting of Brett Cowan.

Our cops are tops.

The original query was: What could be a tactical reason in delaying asking the public to help identify two cars, originally spotted only vaguely, one whole year later?

It's a fair question.

My only guess is that they are hoping to guilt or pressure a third party, who knows or suspects what happened, into coming forward after they see that a connecting line can be drawn.

Perhaps the combination of the two cars might point the finger at two friends? Perhaps someone is sweating right now.

In any case, a year later just seems odd. But lots of things about this case are shadowy, so why not add another.

Thanx Butterstick but I was responding to Soso's comment---no other.

Indeed. And sosocurious was replying to me, that's just how it worked out. No biggie.
