OMG that has to be the worst crime stopper report page I have ever seen. How they ever disseminate information provided by the public using that format astounds me!!!..

I posted the picture Bear...and managed to provide the information in an inappropriate box .... hope the info gets through.

I have provided details on the South Australian Crime Stoppers page for a crime in SA and their page was user friendly...NSW is a total disaster IMO...if this page is what people are using to try to help with Williams case...then I am truly worried!!!!

Just trying to eliminate cars from across the road from the Tyrells, verge and driveway. Not war driving with pineapple cans in streetview. No backyards.

Driveway bottom left corner. Car looks to be the same so eliminated from verge. Cars appear to parked on verge in Benaroon drive as the drives are sol long no one wants to reverse out. Easier to park on the kerb :)

I am very worried by their crime stopper page.....it doesn't give much scope for anyone posting anonymous information...it doesn't give a header page or spot to simply say what crime/case you are giving information on.... I can honestly say the format could see someone's report heading off into fairy land and never reaching the appropriate department at all.....(Insert fricken angry face here).

ETA: No Where on the crime stopper page do they give you the option to simply state that you are supplying information that you are not sure if it's relevant or not - but simply supplying it in the interest of it maybe being relevant. It asks for very specific information such as the possible perpetrators of a crimes name/address/vehicle/registration.....exactly what they have done....I can't see how anyone wanting to supply information based soley on a hunch or a suspicion can report it...and have that report land in the right department.

I really think solving what happened to William and where he is will involve investigating relationships of all the parties involved including the POI.

  • #567
I've done a bit of back and fourth with thought on this too Little Scout..... He may not come across all that smart, but I have wondered if this is an act and he is actually more cunning than people give him credit. It may entirely be my own perception/ suspicion.....little things I noticed...and they may seem trivial. In those first few days when news broke of the raid and him being labelled a POI I noticed he altered his sunglasses....lol...I can hear the chuckles now!!!.... but hear me out... He changed from sharp edged sunglasses that possibly gave an impression of being "cool" to some degree...to the more softer rounded sunglasses that would appear more demur... like a chameleon changing to suit the circumstances....Could I be wrong? Totally...But it's these little subtle changes or behaviours that keep me thinking.....

I often wonder him driving past the Bush search.... it struck me as odd that on the one hand to be claiming to be devastated by the recent events and media speculation - BUT then you go drive by the search site that was advertised in the media ahead of the event telling you exactly when it was going to take place.... was/is he stupid inviting more media speculation attention on himself??....or overly smug??

BBM

I wish he would start buttoning up his shirts!!

I think he is being smug, brazen, thinks no one can touch him.

IMO

Puggle, please send a link to the crimestopper page you used. Is it for NSW? I've used the NSW crimestopper page on a few occasions to forward information I thought may be relevant to a particular case. One of the screen grabs I sent was actually used and published in MSM in a well known case and the perpetrator is now behind bars for a very long time. He's not behind bars solely because of the image I sent to crimestoppers but it was used and widely published. Have faith that what you've sent through to crimestoppers will be analysed.

ETA. Please do not post your crimestopper assessment number here. Think about it. This number was issued to you and you alone for your report to crimestoppers. Why would you want to share that with the rest of the world?

Maybe LE should do a polygraph on him? I know its not admissable in court but could prove interesting nevertheless?

It would be very interesing. I have been wondering all of these months if BS has been taken a poly, or if he has refused one.

  • #570
Makara will correct me if I'm wrong, but yes, I think we are not supposed to sleuth the backyards of random people who aren't named POI/suspects etc

Google Maps, SIX Maps and Google Earth images are all freely available online. It's fine to post those images and either include a link or name the source of any images you post. It's not fine to designate and name a particular address as a place of interest in this case. If anyone feels that what they have found on these sites is of interest or may be relevant please forward it to crimestoppers or contact the police.

BS has not been charged with anything to do with William's disappearance and therefore would not be subjected to a polygraph. Anything ascertained from a polygraph test is not admissible in a court of law. Waste of time really isn't it?

I think it's a crappy crime stopper report page..... I hope your right Makara that everything gets analysed....I don't put much faith in that page after submitting a report to be honest.

I shared the report to reassure other posters that what we had been discussing was reported... That's even if it gets through to the right department....not sure if it will...As I said...from what I saw of their page it's pretty crappy IMO

If someone went to fix a fridge, in Dunbogan? then someone went to fix a fridge, or..... Where was the fridge repair? Someone went there, but not to fix a fridge, or something on the way?

I'd say the police were onto the Dunbogan story as soon as it was mentioned to them.

Later on that day, September 12, Mr Spedding had *driven to Dunbogan where he had *another appliance to repair. Detectives visited Dunbogan on Wednesday last week to talk to locals.

Lol that msm report always interested me.......they went to speak with "Locals".....???.... Why weren't they speaking with the individual client he saw??........strange.

I'm confused.... If these images were from the 19th of September 2014 .......wouldn't we expect to see more vehicles in the image - From memory... We had media picture which clearly showed police/emergency service vehicles still on the road....along with that infamous shot (Now missing) of the Washing Machine Repair Van on the road on that date...... Also the Police road stops were on the 19th.

Would expect to see a lot more vehicles in this image if it was taken on the 19th ???

The images of the police/emergency service vehicles were taken on 18 September and published on the 19 September. There has never been an infamous shot of the washing machine repair van as some people think and that's why it can't be found. No photo was ever taken.

Eeek! I agree Puggle, that page is a shocker. It has certainly changed from when I last used it.

I'm sure the police did speak to the alleged client but they're keeping that quiet for now.

I haven't seen many pics of him. A shirt only buttoned down below fits very well with a golden chain - is he wearing this attribute also? :giggle:

It doesn't say something about sexuality but in any case ego (or bad taste?), IMO.
