It would nice to map the movements which police no doubt already have. The sewerage plant, that concerns me. RE: Body disposal

Yes I have been thinking the same thing.
I am not convinced that BS has not said in the interview soon after William disappeared that he was at Dunbogan in the morning.

Could someone give me a quick tutorial on 'Posting Multi-quotes for Dummies' please?

SPEDDING, who appeared at Campbelltown Court today argued that the 60km trip he took to report to Port Macquarie every day was excessive, so he will now only need to check in with officers on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

I also heard on 2GB radio that Spedding was not required to appear today. MS was by his side and both did not speak to awaiting journalists.

One easy way to rectify the excessive travel - slap an ankle bracelet on him. No matter, I'm sure he has a few 'followers' (and I don't mean on instagram).

It probably doesn't achieve anything by him having to report to the police station except stop him earning an income I suspect and no doubt he is being closely monitored.

This is a general question and is not directed to any family member of WT or POI. Has there ever been a time in any past criminal cases where a person has been cleared as a suspect or POI, but it has turned out whether for strategy by police or other reasons, he/she/they were actually guilty?

My point exactly. I doubt if reporting to Port Macquarie Police Station has had much at all to do with him being stopped from earning an income. For many of his current (now former?) and/or prospective clients, I am pretty sure there would be some slightly more serious considerations about allowing him access to their homes at this point in time.

It was just posted recently that Daniel Morcombe's killer had previously been cleared as a POI by police, and it wasn't until the Coroner's Inquiry that the coroner saw that he had been too quickly cleared without enough checking into him, and then police got him in the end by using some kind of sting operation.

Hmm - the undercover cop sat next to him on the plane flight home from the inquest ...didn't he?
He was called to the inquest as a poi.
Wasn't he cleared very early in the investigation - because his alibi seemed to check out.
But then on further investigation he had the history, the opportunity and the timing.

I think its just part of the process for someone out on bond. Don't think anyone will be calling him anytime soon anyway considering he has been charged with raping children and attacking them as well.
I really hope this guy is guilty because it is a hell of a dilemma if he's not IMO. If he's innocent he will hopefully be suing the state for all they're worth.

Sorry answering my self.

But then that could have been because it had been referred to cold case Barnes who then referred back to the police to investigate this bloke further.
imo

To multi quote click on the small tab at the far right on the bottom of the message you want to quote. It is situated down where the Thanks tab is. Go to the next post you want to quote and do the same. Once you've selected the posts you want to quote, click on the Reply With Quote tab and the message box will pop up with the quoted posts inserted. You can now address each post which will be enclosed within the [ QUOTE ] quoted post text sits here [ /QUOTE ] tags. Don't edit these tags in any way or the quote will be broken.

Hope this helps.

'Hopefully' he won't have any rights to sue the state. He IS a POI to us at WS as well and he had a reason to be at the house and he has relevant priors.

If the POI has historical charges, is there no case to answer on compensation?

I'm not sure what his rights will be if he is not proven guilty but he sure would be entitled to some form of litigation i would think? Possibly a libel suit against the media like the McCann's had successful litigation for. But i guess his lawyer will advise him on that one way or another.
