Yikes, I wish the public would stop being so preoccupied with what information hasn't been released to us, and about the family situation.
Yes, a lot of people are curious. I understand that. But to be honest, it's none of our business. At all.
The information is confidential for a reason and the general public knowing or not knowing is not going to help the case. The detectives working on this case know the full story and that is all that matters. They know A LOT more than we could even comprehend and if they are to get a conviction or find William, we must trust the way they are allowing this to be playing out.
As for us seeing the faces of his parents - how will that change anything? It won't, except for satisfying our curiosity.
William's face is all that matters. It's William we are looking for, it's William who we are giving all of our energy and love and thoughts to. William. William the Firefighter. Spiderman. If his beautiful face is not enough for someone to speak up and do the right thing, nothing will.
If the faces of his parents WERE shown, people would still be trashing them because they may not show enough emotion in an interview or they may not look sad enough or they might be photographed living their life and not looking devastated enough - they can't win either way. And their faces will not change anything about this case, or the outcome.
P.S: Foster or not, they are William's parents. William called them mummy and daddy. William was their son, they loved him to the moon and back. It's so weird to me how people are getting so confused and weird about the foster thing. The family have been eliminated as suspects. Anything else is none of our beeswax. It's confusing and complex and frustrating, I know.
In the words of singer Morrissey, what difference does it make? It makes none. I'm going to go and listen to his song "William, It Was Really Nothing" and hope for the best. This case breaks my heart.![]()

Family had no idea of paedophile Tony Jones’ ‘horrific’ history of crime
THE family of convicted paedophile Tony Jones, a person of interest in the disappearance of toddler William Tyrrell, has issued an emotional statement calling on the government to bring in tougher sentencing laws after The Daily Telegraph revealed the 59-year-old was allowed to roam the streets despite more than 90 convictions against his name.
Shocked relatives, who now call Jones a “cretin” who does not deserve to be a part of society, were unaware of the extent of his life of crime until it was laid bare this week.

More from the link above.
The alibi he has provided to family members is that he was out collecting scrap metal at the time William vanished. They say he arrived back home drunk at 2pm that day.
And the vehicle that was taken from his property? Was he in fact parked across the street from the g/ma's house and definitely his vehicle?
You do if you are cruising around the streets, but not if you are in a house with WiFi, or connect via Bluetooth to another device. What I was thinking is a second phone with no sim is easy to get and use and throw off a bridge.Don't you need a sim card to use the internet on a phone though?
I wish we had all the answers Karinna. All we know at this stage is that the vehicle is being forensically checked by police.
When a child is fostered is it usual for the child to call the foster parents Mummy and Daddy?
I would have thought so with adoption but not necessarily with fostering. I think of fostering as a temporary arrangement.
Not asking for any particular reason, just curious.
Its not the public actually, its more so the media screaming on air about information not being released to the.
The majority of the public are too busy in their lives.
People here are concerned they are being deceived by people who have an interest in keeping Williams case unsolved.
Does that make sense?
I think its great the authorities in this case have busted a paedophile ring, but as to who abducted William i'm not so sure.
I can only see one good outcome with this case and that would be if someone that has William's best interests at heart has him, and police have alluded to the fact William could still be alive somewhere. I guess that would depend on who abducted him as to his wellbeing. If paedo's stole him then that really would be heartbreaking as well and he would be very traumatised by that if he is in fact still alive. I really don't know what to think about this case at all.
I meant general public in regards to anyone not on the inside of the investigation - that includes the media, people posting opinions online, the random people I hear in public talking about this case. Everyone I come across in real life is aware of this case and has an opinion. And I am in NZ.
Yes, of course I understand the theories, I'm not stupid. I also enjoy reading them.
I just think it's important to trust Jubelin and the team on this - they have ruled the family out. I still hear his voice saying that on the 60 Minutes episode as I type this. I find the constant speculation on Facebook and the like about the family unnecessary and cruel.
It may well be cruel but it's the nature of sites like this one and some fb groups, to speculate, ask questions and suggest possibilities. Otherwise, what is the point of sleuthing?
If I were a family member, I just wouldn't read the pages.
That is a bit hypocritical though when the police are repeatedly asking for help and information regarding this case.
