ONLY days before William Tyrrell was abducted, his grandmother told repairman Bill Spedding she was expecting a stay-over visit from her family and could he fix her faulty washing machine.....

In the weeks after police raided his Bonny Hills home searching for clues on the toddler’s disappearance, Mr Spedding, 63, told of a conversation he had with William’s grandmother at her home when he inspected the machine.

http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/ne...314208802?sv=224c84bcd9e66a61dc7c0922a8691ad8

BS told of a conversation he had with Williams grandmother after his home was raided...... Who was that conversation with?

It must have been them he told ... he was “relieved” when he could not reach William’s grandmother by phone because he didn’t want to perform the repair over the weekend and wanted to take his children to their football game.
Wonder if that was friend, family or police?
Wonder if he did take the children to their football games over the weekend?

oh Col probably

Looking at photos of William posted on the official "Find William" website and Facebook pages - he seems quite tall for his age. I try to imagine what he would look like now, if he was (best case scenario) being looked after/ cared for by whoever stole him. It's sad to think he is somewhat frozen in time. The photo of him and his birthday cake only having three candles is just so, so sad. The only thing which gives me hope is Jubelin -

“I’ll never give up,” warns the detective.

One thing that still gets me is the immediate response of despair of something happening to william from parents and police, don't get me wrong I know he was only 3 years old but it seemed to me it was taken so seriously from within the first 10 minutes he was missing. I live on an acre block and would of course panic if my child was missing momentarily but I remember a few years ago my girlfriend down the roads little 4 yo girl went missing in her own backyard, the parents greatest fear was all the pools in our street, everyone was out helping look for the 30 mins she was missing ( found asleep under her brothers bed ) police were called but said to call back in an hour if she hadn't turned up. Not for a second am I questioning the poor parents, I have 100 percent belief in them but a part of me wonders if there was a reason why the worst was expected so quickly. Maybe it was because the mum had been suspicious of the cars or was she in fear of certain people in the area ? Jmo

Not the Guardian and Le Monde international edition? For shame, Inspector! Truly it's OK to indulge in some 'fairy floss for the mind' (I have a shameful soapie secret!)

The circumstances surrounding William's disappearance is driving me nuts. Round and round and round we go, where'll we stop? Nobody knows. Hopefully, with William reunited with his sister.

Hbayne, if a child that I was caring for (such as my grandchildren or one of the neighbourhood children) went missing, I think I'd have a panic attack! I was much more laissez-faire with my own children but, 'someone else's' or a child that was in my care? A whole different kettle of fish; especially if they'd 'had a difficult life', as William's FM has stated he did.

For some reason, I feel a greater sense of responsibility for other people's children. I can't put my finger on it. It's not fear exactly, although that would be a component if they went missing. It's also a matter of being trusted enough to care for someone who is very precious to others, and if something happened to their child they would be devastated. I suppose it's a mixture of empathy, failing their trust in you and a big blow to your sense of responsibility that would come into play as well.

Maybe the reason worst was suspected and the investigation was ramped up so quickly was due to either William's history and/or the fact that he was ultimately FaCS' responsibility. Sosocurious posted a critical incident flowchart for instances when a child in their care is endangered.

Yes, me too. My little grandson is 2 months older than William and is as cheeky as I imagine William to be. I often look at him in a bittersweet kind of way. Sweet; because I have him in my life and I'm so grateful, and 'bitter'; because I don't know what I'd do if he wasn't in my life.

Then I think about how William's family doesn't have William in their lives and the pain they must be feeling. I don't think my granddaughter would ever recover if something happened to her brother and I know my daughter and son-in-law would be shattered.

I share William's parents' outrage at that moment. How dare someone take a little boy from a family who obviously loves him and leave a hole in their lives (and their poor broken hearts) that nothing will fill until he is found? How bloody dare they!

Hey! Web-fingered hands(?) off!

I think it's due to his yoga practice and yearly meditation retreats. God, in a job like his you'd have to have balance in your life or it would destroy you IMO.

Yep. He seems a well balanced man :D

I just want to say a big thank you to all of you especially our Aussie members for keeping William's thread updated and still going. William is still in my prayers everyday and like all of you I hope the case breaks open as soon as possible.

Also re the photo that does seem to have disappeared from MSM of WT....I remember people thought another photo of BS's van in Benaroon Drive also disappeared (I think it was supposed to be when he returned to fix the washing machine) and it was parked amongst the police cars. There was some dispute if this pic actually did exist...
Anyway...it does seem odd to me that someone would go to the trouble of pulling photos from the web. I have no theory why but it does make me sit up and take note.

People said that the pic of the station wagon had been pulled too, and there was debate about what that might mean, but it's still around. Here, for instance:

so these behavioural experts have been analysing which of the pois have the characteristics to abduct a child and its been called a homicide investigation...

Experts from the Behavioural Science Team have been assessing the behaviour and personality characteristics of all suspects to pinpoint anyone capable of abducting William. The experts were brought in soon after the three-year-old William vanished on September 12.
Det-Insp Jubelin said criminal psychologists were rarely used in HOMICIDE investigations and only on request from detectives on the case.
Det-Insp Jubelin said despite the new developments, it was still very possible William had been murdered.
“We don’t want to give any false hope. We are still considering all possibilities,” he said.

Something just popped into my head this morning it had to do with dates...

Tony Jones arrested 27th September 2014

Report on the 22nd January 2015 - A Fibro Cabin @ The Haven Caravan Park was searched approximately 16th January 2015
following reports that people had heard a child crying from that Cabin in the weeks after William went missing.

The dates the people had been staying @ the Cabin were from the 28th September 2014 - 9th of October 2014

Maybe nothing .... but could it also be an indication of a possible transfer date from one location to another ????

I definitely have a feeling the caravan park is a key location in William's disappearance. Do I think AJ and WS were involved in William being passed on to a caravan paedophile group of the senior citizen variety? Yes. I get chills just thinking about it. Poor little William. I hope there is an update by the police soon.
