I just want thoughts on this. I really believe or believed that the police knew where William is or was but just need more evidence. But then with the ongoing posts on official Facebook site and public campaigns such as maccas etc it makes me think they have no idea...... I hope I'm wrong. I feel that if they were onto something they would not keep asking. [emoji21][emoji21][emoji21][emoji21]

Found, it's similar to the Karlie and Khandalyce case. A man was arrested on Tuesday for the murder of Karlie. The investigator's obviously have a huge amount of information in regard to that case and we will no doubt hear of more arrests. Yet we constantly see in MSM and police reports that a plea is issued to the publc to come forward with any information that may assist in the investigation. There is so much that goes on behind the scenes in this type of investigation and there are many things that we may never be privy to. Rest assured Gary Jubelin and his team are doing everything to bring William home.

Walk For Daniel a time of mixed feelings for Morcombes

"We don't want it to be a sad occasion but we need to remember what we are there for," Bruce said.

"We can't forget that the whole Daniel Morcombe Foundation exists because Daniel was abducted.

"His abduction is the very reason we will be there.

"We don't want it to be sad but we want people to reflect on the origins of the day.

FAST FACTS

Sausage sizzle starts 6am at Suncoast Christian College.
Walk starts 6.30am.
Walk finishes at Palmwoods 8.30am .
Parking at Jubilee Oval, Palmwoods with shuttle buses to start.

I have 2 schools of thought...
They know 'who' but don't know 'where'
or
He is no longer with us, they know 'who' but they need rock solid evidence to put them away (similar to poor little Kiesha).
I also have a fantasy theory that he has been taken and being cared for by someone for some reason...perhaps to expose another crime?? or of course that someone took him because they really wanted a little boy of their own. Unrealistic? Probably, but easier to think about than some of the other theories I guess.

Little Spider-Man should be at home with his sister excited to dress up for Halloween and go trick or treating with his family the fact that he isn't just breaks your heart. William is in my prayers every day please let there be a break in the case soon.

I must say I agree with you, Inspector, plus one other theory I can't discuss on WS due to TOS (nothing at all to do with William's FM and FD).

Firstly, police know 'who' has William but don't have enough evidence to bring charges as well as needing to locate William alive (or, dare I say it, his remains).

Secondly, the theory I mentioned above.

Thirdly, he has been randomly abducted, eg, in order to serve as a surrogate child or, sadly, to fulfil another role.

Of course, there are also the slim possibilities William did wander into the bush and hasn't been located, or he was the victim of an MVA which was covered up (again, not by FM and FD).

Yes, Makara, I think once movement on this case is finally released to the media, it will progress quite quickly (as in Karlie's and Khandalyce's murders).

It's a good idea to go back through the old threads to see if anything jumps out at you and see if it has been resolved. Things can be missed and even investigators have no qualms in going back over an entire case if they hit a dead end.

I hope you're not telling me to go back through the threads! LOL. What do you think I do all day now?

BBM Sometimes I have wondered if William could possibly have wandered off and somehow been missed, too, it seems less likely as time goes on though when locals still look out for him and police do training exercises in the search areas, according to this article :

Bohemian, with your final theory, does MVA stand for motor vehicle accident?

I know there was a little boy about Williams age dressed up as Spider-Man last night at the table next to me when I went out for dinner. I just wish William had been safe, happy and smiling enjoying Halloween & out for dinner with his family too.

Hope you are all having a nice weekend.

Hi everyone,i have not been a member for long and though i have had a good read, there are a few things i cant seem to find the answers for.I would appreciate if anyone could answer the following for me.
1.Is there any mention as to whether Williams FD saw any cars on the morning.
2.I there anything about the origin of that trip regards to involvement that end.(one would assume there would be some ppl there that knew the family).
3.Was there anything significant about the t shirt that was found in the pipe i.e colour/pattern or has that and the spider man doll been ruled out.
Thanks.

Hi Andromeda13
I will try to answer to the best of my knowledge.
1. I do not remember reading anything that said that anyone other than the foster mum saw the cars that morning.
2. Not sure what you mean but I think you mean did anyone know they were going from their hometown? Everything I have read indicates that they did not tell anyone they were leaving a day earlier than planned. It is not really clear to me if anyone knew they were going but just not on that day.
3. To my knowledge nothing further has been said by LE regarding the t-shirt or the spiderman doll. But there are many things that nothing further has been said about. They said they finished the search of the properties but to my knowledge did not say they had found (or had NOT found) anything significant.

I have always been suspicious of both the spiderman doll and the t-shirt.
Firstly the t-shirt. Anyone smart would not flush a t-shirt into a septic tank. You may flush one I suppose if you were on town sewer although it would be risky but not into a septic. Of course one of the kids that were living there at the time could have done this for a joke.
Secondly the spiderman doll was just a little too convenient for my liking. A little spiderman goes missing, the finger is pointed at a local tradesman and lo and behold, look what he has in his car.
I am not saying BS is guilty or innocent but merely pointing out that both (or either) items could well have been placed deliberately to either to frame him....or else to make it blatantly obvious that he was guilty in case anyone was wavering on that point. An insurance policy if you like??

You'd like to think the t shirt was well examined for any relevant DNA samples if thats even possible after being in that environment huh? Like you I think flushing a t shirt a very odd behaviour.... Having said that my little boy went through a stage of flushing his nastily soiled undies! I only realised when we ran out and his 4 year old sister dobbed him in! But he was 2!
Maybe someone in the household flushed it because it was embarrassingly soiled and they didn't want to throw it in the washing. The person who did the washing wouldn't would they? Was it a size to fit one of BS and MS foster children? Why down the toilet and not pushed to the bottom of a rubbish bin... unless you were in the toilet with a childs t shirt and it became soiled... Dont like where my thoughts are going. Very dark.

What I wonder is was the shirt ever retrieved by police or are they just going off of what the plumber told them? It may have been thrown out by the plumber or Spedding's. The report of the TShirt has always bothered me. It was never mentioned what size the shirt was or if it was a Spiderman tshirt. Can't help but wonder if it was the shirt William had on under his Spiderman outfit.

Thank you for the great replies.I would have thought that the family would be well know in the town that they lived in, (where they traveled from) and would have friends, neighbors, attend groups with the kids etc.The natural thing to do is chat about holidays and plans.Normally any travel with kids takes some prep time, unless there is a reason as to why they would just make a snap decision to up and leave.
I wondered if the t-shirt was somehow involved in the case of an abduction.I agree the doll is a bit suss.
